Hey everyone. I want to have a can of snus in my hand-lugagge. I am only 15 years old and flying from Spain to Denmark in a few days. Do you guys think there will be any kind of trouble?

I can only speak based off of US laws. You might want to find someone who flys out of Spain a lot to give you better details.
In certain states in the US possession of tobacco by minors is not illegal. Selling to them is, but the possession it self is not considered a crime. In these US states the worst that would happen is they confiscate your tobacco because of your age. (I'm not sure if they would even do this...) However in other states there can be penalties and fines.
Minors are lucky in my home state of Massachusetts as there are absolutely no laws regarding minors and tobacco possession.
As for the other states in the US here's how it works:
We found 40 states that prohibit minors from purchasing tobacco products. Thirty-one states prohibit minors from possessing tobacco in all circumstances. Five states, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Oregon, and Rhode Island, ban possessing tobacco in limited circumstances, such as in public or on school property. Only five states, Massachusetts, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, and South Carolina, have no laws concerning minors and tobacco.
Of the states that prohibit minors from buying tobacco, 31 impose fines. The fines range from $10 for the first offense to $750 for the third offense. Nine states impose only fines, while 22 states combine fines with other penalties. Four states have only non-monetary penalties. Non-monetary penalties include community service, participation in a tobacco education program, loss of driver's license, confiscation of tobacco products, and imprisonment.
Of the states that ban tobacco possession by minors, 27 impose fines. These fines range from $5 for the first offense to $750 for the third offense. States also mandate community service, a tobacco education program, loss of driver's license, and imprisonment as penalties for possessing tobacco. These penalties are used in conjunction with or in place of fines.
Note: I am not a lawyer and my post should not be taken as legal advice of any kind. I am simply mentioning how it works here in the US (BASED ON MY KNOWLEDGE) and giving what information I have relating to that.
Please contact the airport you plan on flying out of or a local agency that can help you with the exact legal details of this issue.
Personal Note: Personally I would take the risk of bringing tobacco on a plane even if it wasn't allowed, but I am of age to use tobacco and I don't believe it would be as much of an issue if they did find it in my carry-on bag.Last edited by N1THC; 24-07-17, 05:32 PM.N1THC / WQYV607 - Ham / GMRS Operator
