Portions irritate my throat, why?

:numbness: Need your help. So, I've been snussing heavily for 8 years. During that time there has been at least 3 occasions when I determined that portion snus was irritating my throat. Did not matter the brand or flavor. When I would switch to loose, the irritation would go away. This just recently happened. My throat has been bothering me for a month. I've been using Thunder portion. Day before yesterday I obtained some loose and after 2 days of nothing but loose, my throat feels much better already.
My question is this, is there some type of chemical in portion snus, like a wetting agent or something that loose doesn't have in it? If so, maybe I'm allergic to it.

Hi, no theres nothing extra Chemicals in portion snus, but using portion will make you have a larger amount of saliva going
down your throat.

I get that bubble stuck in the throat feeling sometimes when I use an es portion. For me it comes and goes rather quickly, and happens soon after I put a fresh strong portion in. I choose not to worry about it. I think it is just the nic making my throat react a bit.
