I received the ginormous Tub O'Landströms today. It came with peppermint, eucalyptus, citron, licorice, and bergamot essential oils. Also it came with instructions for preparing the snus. It needs a solution of sodium carbonate, but I'm wondering if sodium bicarbonate would work as well. If not I guess I'll have to go to the pharmacist to pick some up. The raw snus pretty much tastes like it does when you got it from The Northerner, but it's lacking a bit of salt(sodium carbonate?)

Anyway, this should be an experience, I hope I don't screw it up :^O

I'm glad you like it and that it arrived without any problem. The Sodium Bicarbonate? It should be in the black can without any lable on top. Please if you don't find it there just send me a message and I will contact Gellivare to see what I can do. Of course you shouldn't need to go to a store and buy it, we will ship it to you.

I'll look closer in the tub and see if it's there, but the couple of quick prods I made didn't reveal any. I would appreciate it if you could confirm whether it has to be sodium carbonate, or if sodium bicarbonate would suffice. You don't have to send it or anything. I have sodium bicarbonate(baking soda) at my house now, and I'm sure I could buy sodium carbonate cheaper than it would cost to ship.
