    I also received mine yesterday:

    1 General los
    1 Grov los
    1 Offroad Licorice los
    1 Phantom Classic Blue los
    1 Offroad Icemint portion

One of these things is not like the other...A minor mistake, and who am I to complain; the stuff was free! However, there will be one can of Offroad Icemint portions on the snus exchange shortly. It has inspired me to put all my unopened and frozen portion cans up for trade, so those of you who are into portions, keep your eyes open!

I haven't tried any of my "new" flavors (new-to-me flavors?) yet, but I'll be sure to post impressions when I do. I'm really looking forward to the Phantom Blue and OR Licorice...they may be next.

WOOHOO!!! I GOT MY BIG TUB OF G AND THE FLAVOR BOTTLES ON FRIDAY. I walked down the road to my mailbox and...........no snus. I looked down the road for the mail truck and he almost hit me. Good timing. I didn't want it setting in the mailbox in the sun very long and I got lucky.....again. He handed my prize to me and I walked away smiling.

It was a buzy day and I didn't get to put a pris in untill just now. Wow this stuff is excellent. I'm not a big los fan but this stuff is great without any flavoring added. Thats next.

I see why so many members loved this stuff. Thanks Doris and Roger for making a great snus. Hopefully you will be back making it soon. Thank you.

Well I REALLY appreciate this prize. Thank you sooo much Frank at Northerner.

        The planning starts...........

Sodium carbonate is more alkaline by weight than sodium bicarbonate. If you want the same alkalinity from sodium bicarbonate, you have to add, ballpark, 57% more. (ie 157g sodium bicarbonate instead of 100g sodium carbonate).

I guess Frank decided to toss me a little bonus since I am such a cheap date.

            Received:

            5 Phantom Blue
            1 Montecristo portion
            1 Northerner Energy
And the keepsake can of Gellivare which went straight to it's display place on my mantle. I will keep it sealed.

I have to say, I think Frank has got himself an elixyr convert here. I am quite enjoying this energy snus (see my review in the other thread).

Thank you very much man! You went above and beyond with this gift!

Xobe how did you get the Montecristo Portion from Northerner? I asked them if there was any way to send me a Monecristo los to please do so with my 5 free ones, but I was almost positive it wasn't possible. I have been wanting to try the Montecristo los for quite a while now. In my 5 free tins I ordered all portions since I have over 70 tins of los in my freezer and like 3 portions. I wanted to try something different. I got the following:

            1 Wise Citrus/Menthol
            1 Wise Original
            1 1847
            1 Jakobsson Original
            1 General Onyx

I absolutely love the Wise citrus/menthol. Its the only one I have tried so far. It's probably the only portion snus I could use regularly. I might actually buy a 10-pack. I still have to try the other portions to see how they are, but it will take me a while since I rarely use portions.

                Gellivare snus giveaway.

                P. Parrots got the Gellivare and lxskllr the Lanstroms, ...and bottom line was everyone who (luckily) participated in the thread, and didn't 'win' was sent 5 cans of their favorite snus.

lxskllr and I are still trying to figure out how to mix this stuff. It wasn't ready to consume and we had directions that are somewhat difficult to understand. We are completely on our own as far as figureing out how to mix the flavors. My emails to Doris went unanswered. I tried one pris so far but it certainly needs to be mixed with the sodium powder. lxskllr has started to mix the sodium, now we wait a few days. If it turns out ok then he'll let me know and I'll do the same. Currently mine is in the freezer anxiously awaiting results. Mixing the flavors will be solely by experimentation I guess, since we have no directions on how much to use. The snus smells good tho. We'll see how it turns out.

PP, you and lxskllr should post some pics of your snus-blending adventrues.

I'm sorry if the things we sent isn't clear. Gellivare Snus factory sent us the Snus set with instructions how to make it, we just have translated the instructions into english. Maybe the translation went wrong somehow... Please let me know and I will try to get in contact with Gellivare.

Thanks Frank. We got the sodium part figured out no problem. [I think] The translation gave us a pretty good idea on how to mix it. Now its the flavoring that we have to experiment with. That flavoring is quite concentrated and we would just like some guidance as to how much to add. I had emailed Doris 2 times and never got a reply. Its not the end of the world because I realize that we all have different tastes but it would be nice to have some sort of minimum flavoring guide so we don't ruin this snus. Lxskllr and I are keeping close communication and will get this figured out. I think he likes regular unflavored and I know I like some of the different flavors. Anyway, you have been a big help. Lol, I figured you might respond to this thread. My post was almost a test to see if you are keeping an eye on the posts here at SnusOn. We all love to hear your input. I'm so glad you did respond so quickly cuz that means you must be lurking. Great job and again thanks for the Gellivare Tub.

Ok, I have now also sent Gellivare a message, I hope to get back to you as soon as possible. They have been difficulty to get hold of lately, I can somehow understand why.

Personally I think the beest way is to try and mix until you find the right strengt of flavour. Some drops and then mix, but I guess you guys have tried this allready :P
