What have I done??

I went and ordered the Offroad Limited Edition tube, that's what I did! I have a general dislike for Offroad portions, but while I was compiling my latest Buysnus order, I realized that I was beginning to tire of the same old thing, and that roll has such cool flavors that I just couldn't stand it anymore.

What's happening to me? I started out hating all that was Offroad, then I got hooked on the los, and now the portions are starting to suck me in.....oh, the humanity!

offroad is a very love it or hate type of thing. True enough they have lots of different flavors. I find the flavors appealing, but the underlying tobacco is kind of weird tasting. Not sure how to describe it. I also bought the limited edition tin and sort of regret it now. I just don't get through a container of it before they are dried out.....

Offroad los isn't too bad. Not an every day snus for me, but not bad at all. The portions do kind of suck though. They're thin tasting, like almost watery, and they go bland very quickly.

I ordered the Offroad ltd. awhile back and it's been in the freezer ever since. The strawberry was a let-down and tastes like Bubblicious gum to me, or chewable kids aspirin, but I have high hopes for the others. My tube had really long dates, like Feb 2009, considering I got it about 6 weeks ago...so I'm saving it as backup and slowly picking at a frdged can of 'wild strawberry' when I want a sweet fix.

Yeah, I know it hasn't received the best reviews, but I really wanted to try something different this time. Plus that can is pretty damn cool. 8)

If the los version happens, I'm gonna be all over that one...

Agreed, about them being too watery... the exception is the Strong Cranberry, which isn't wet at all. A great portion snus and IMO, far better than the Skruf flavor. Be careful about generalizations.

I have not tried the portion mix from offroad, but I did get the last order of the mixed los flavors. I have only really tried the orange flavored los so far and it was alright, but not the best. I took a smell of all the others and I could hardly stand the smell of them. The only ones I liked a little of the smell was top tobacco and the orange flavored one. The others almost made me cringe. I stuck them in the freezer and took a smell of them again after freezing and it was a lot better so I am going to give them a try, but I wouldn't say I am totally looking forward to it. Especially the chocolate flavored ones have a terrible odor to them and if they taste anything like they smell I don't think I'll care for them. Ill give it a shot and post what I think though.

Well, I've tried them all, and all I can say is:

Bleh.

I don't much care for any of them, although I could see myself buying the Orange by itself, if that ever becomes possible. Half of it is the stink; these seem to have that typical Offroad dirty smell to them (which I'm starting to get used to), but it's more pronounced in these for some reason. I like to smell the tin before I take a portion out due to force of habit, but I just can't handle it with any of these. :P

All I can say is...V2, make these in los? Please?

I'm with you J, the Orange is pretty good if you're in the right mood. I still have that strawberry can just kind of sitting in the minifridge, haven't really touched it. The Eucalyptus is decent, but I agree, my whole snus drawer in the big fridge reeks of the stuff even though I've frozen most of the roll.

That is what really amazes me; that stench permeated everything in the envelope when I received it, and now every time I open my mini fridge, it hits me right in the face. This stuff really does stink all to hell and back! I will probably put all of the unopened tins in a ziplock bag and move them to the unused crisper in my main fridge for the time being.

That metal tube is now my bad-ass super spare change collector, though! That made it all worth it. 8)
