    EU Chew Bags and Loose

I haven't posted here in forever...
I got an email from this site the other day and looked around. It was great fun back then.

I saw this thing for the EU called Chew Bags... their form of snus that can be sold in the EU.

I have some questions, has anyone used these and reviewed them? I am curious.

And, are these only available to the EU?

    Thanks.

I asked Northerner if I could buy "Nordic Chew" to the USA, and they replied today.....

      Dear Tom,
We ship our products world wide but I'm afraid not all products are allowed to all locations and these products you mention are not available to the US due to FDA regulations.

Please choose your country on the website's upper right corner before you start shopping so the products available to your location are displayed.

If there is anything else we can do for you please don't hesitate to contact us again.

      Have a nice day!

      With Kind Regard,
      Malin, Northerner Customer Support

      ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So now I wonder, and wonder if anyone can tell me, why is "Nordic Chew" banned in the USA????????????

Hi Tom, good to see you here. Those chewbags are only for members of the Eu I'm told, as a replacement for snus which is banned. But its just another name they put on snus so they can sell it there.
Trying to get Swedish Chew delivered to the US is not through it being 'banned' from the US rather the producers didn't see any point in going to the trouble & expense of submitting it to the FDA so they could sell it to the US with it just being a substitite for real snus for those in the EU that can't get hold of the real stuff.

Also, fyi the word 'chew' in the product name bares no resemblance at all to American Chew.
        That's about it.

        ….and Malin is 100% correct.
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

Yeah, but if you have watched the Snubie reviews of this chew, it is different, not just in how they are made, but overall.... to a degree of course. But my point is, why are they restricted from the US? Unless they are banned, and if it's not... Why can't they just be available everywhere? (I'm not thinking you or anyone has an actual answer, it's more of a statement, because I was thinking maybe to order some, based on the reviews, and it being something new).

They're targeted for the EU, so companies don't really see the need to target them for the US. It's not that they're forbidden, e-stores could sell them online to the US, there's just no reason to when we can get snus. Also, with companies trying to keep up with the demand for these products, the product sales and distribution is focused on EU markets. Pulling from that to sell the US would affect that.

The only one that is really that special that I'd like us to be able to get in the US is the Malmo Kardus product because it's really, really good.
