    Adding Sweetener?

Has anyone tried adding a sweetener like liquid Splenda to their unsweetened Snus? I have a bit of a sweet tooth and think that I would like to taste a sweet version of General OP or similar. I love bergamot and drink Earl Gray tea daily, always with cream and Splenda and/or Honey and think that I will try sweetening some of my Snus up.

I enjoy General Mint, but it starts burning my tongue after a while.

    Thoughts?

If I were to add sweetener i would add xylitol. Not sure if that is one of the sweeteners that has a laxative effect...

Xylitol is one of the less offensive sugar alcohols.

Never tried it, I don't have a sweet tooth, everything must have the right sourness and saltyness, as far as I'm concerned.

But yes, the Swedes definitely like their snus more sour and/or salty than one could imagine. There once even was a brand ("Level") that added some terrible bitterness to the taste, but it was discontinued. There are several brands where I still have to drink some water to dilute the taste, at least sometimes, one just gets used to the taste of snus after a short while.

As far as sweetening goes, I don't know, but I would just add some drops of sweetener fluid to some snus portions, let them soak in, and see if it works. To me it sounds like an idea that could work very well.

        Cheers!
