Actually I just got some LS Bold last week and was very impressed with the quality of the can. Nice and solid and attractive. Maybe I do hope all the brands start this.

Is the snus inside any good?

It was outstanding. I had forgotten how good LS was.

Now there is an oldie. Bacco sounds slightly familiar but I have never heard of Diplomat.

Taboca los came in a metal can. it was smaller than normal though @ 35g.

              RIP.

The metal cans are nice...real nice, but they've got to cost so much more than the plastic ones. I want to think that the manufacturers would produce a better snus and put in a cheaper can rather than take a few pennies from the snus itself and use that towards a metal can...profits and all. LS is an awesome snus though and this quality theory doesn't hold water with that one. Taboca either. That stuff rocks a fat ass. Montecristo was lackluster to me and I've never tried Romeo Y Julietta. Sadly the only metal cans I've saved were Taboca ones. I do like the slim can though and I take portions around in it often due to it just being smaller and I have no fear of sitting on it and wrecking the can...with my can.

On the subject of airline security, has anyone ever experienced problems taking snus through security? Along the lines of "What is this stuff, is it legal?"

I've never flown when I'm carrying snus, but I have visions of UK security being suspicious of these mysterious little brown packages!

No problems for me. I've only flown with snus in my carry-on during domestic flights though. I had two cans in my laptop bag every time. They didn't even bat an eye at it.

Same for me, also only portions, never had any questions.
