Hi, I tried (camel) snus for the first time monday night. I packed (in both upper and lower lip) twice that night. Then I tried skoal for the first time mid-day tuesday and did a little too much for my first try. Then I packed snus tuesday night. Today's thursday and I still feel a little sick. I still feel a little nausea, headache, stomach ache, etc. Would this be normal side effects for a first timer trying so much within 24 hours? Should I feel better within the next few days? Thanks.
Tried it for the first time - still sick please help

If you are a new snuser I would think that one portion would be good enough but in regards to Camel, it's quite a bit different that more authentic snuses. Much sweeter and heavy tasting on the pallet.
How many cans did you use?

camel snus was the first smokeless I had tried, since a single failed red man disaster as a teenager. The camel snus seemed unbearable at first, causing severe hiccups and nausea. A few tries later it was going along fine. Once the real snus arrived from sweden things went much better. Now I have to be careful not to run out of snus, lest I have to return to the vile camel version. There is only 1 snus more vile than camel and that's either any offroad portion, or elixyr energy. Not sure which one yet, both equally disgusting to me.

Yeah, I'd scale back from double (or more) portions until you get used to the higher nic of a snus vs. cigarettes...just remember, you may not feel the hit with the snus right away, it's a more gradual taper up/maintain/taper down. I don't even feel withdrawals when I haven't snused in a while, the taper is so gradual.
