Had a can of general portions expiration 01/2009, unrefridgerated for about a week and forgotten about. It was in my hamper, in a pair of pants. I discovered the can and was happy, but when i opened it i could see a lot of dust flying out of the can. The portions are still pretty moist, but there are a few dark spots on the portions, I'm sure these dark spots are not stains from juices. The spots seems to be a layering on top of the portion material itself, and it can be scraped off. The spots are quite small 1 mm or so. Do juices ever get to the outside of the portion, and dry out and able to scrape off? Well, is it common for a snus to get moldy long before the expiration date? Does snus even get moldy? I'm pretty confident what I have is moldy snus, judging by the scrapable spots on the portions and the large amount of dust coming out of the can when I opened it. (I opened several other cans, in the light, and none had any noticable dust flying out. Is it possible that perhaps they put a new expiration date sticker on an old can
The can was sealed tight, not factory sealed, but closed. and my hamper isn't gross and infected or nothing, I shower and don't stink or nothing.
