    Triumph Original is Röda Lacket

Anybody else notice this? Ya'll know i love the Röda, and a fellow forum member sent me some Triumph. I got around to opening the Original last night and I was hit by the familiar smell of Röda!? WTF? Ok, it is MUCH sweeter than RL, but it's basically the same thing, except in wedge shaped white portions in Star Formation just like General Sterk and Onyx. Now that I'm not smoking, I found my taste buds are much more sensitive and I can detect differences in foods and snus alike. They [SM] of course added a ton of sweeteners to appeal to the "immature" American pallette, but the base blend has to be the same tobacco/flavorings as Röda. I liked the mint Triumph well enough, but a sugary sweeter version of my favorite Swedish match product? I'm sold. I actually talked to 2 smokeshop owners in my area to ask them to talk to their distributors to see if they could try to get Triumph up here.

Dude let me know if they get Triumph in the Pacific NW. I would love to try it, although I think I might not like the whole extra sweetness thing. Still...

For me Triumph has that peachy, american chewing tobacco sweetness.

Its not overly artificial but its there.

      Its nice.

Hell, i wish i could hook all you guys wanting try it up because here its only $1.59 a can.

I had a fun time buying all of the Triumph original out of a town :P

18 cans for $1.59 each works for me!

        ponysoprano,

I have found that at least for me at this time, triumph original is my go to snus. I am mixing in others like General, Roda Lacket (which I like) Göteborg's and such too.

The only issue I have found with more authentic snus flavors is the salt content. Triumph original does have salt in it unlike Camel that doesn't, but the salt levels of some of the other brands I have tried are a real turnoff.

Glad you are enjoying the Triumph!

Ainkor, in a month, you will no longer notice the salt, I promise.

Have I let you down yet??
