Goteborg's Rape v. Rape No. 2

Just curious what the consensus is on this board. I personally started with Rape No. 2 and thoroughly enjoy it. I tried that one first because it is infused with Lingonberries (a real treat for those who haven't had the real thing). When I was in Sweden a couple years ago, almost every meal I had was served with a side of lingonberry preserves. It's very similar to a cranberry.

Anyway, I digress. With my last order I purchased a tin of Goteborg's Rape, and I did not care for it at all. It was way to herby for me, it tasted like I was putting a bag of dry spices in my mouth.

I'm wondering what you other snusers out there think.

GR#2 for me. Still a bit too sweet for everyday use but better than the portion GR.

If both had been lös it would have been much harder to choose I think....

Ps: Ever wonder what a GR#2 lös would taste like?

Yeah, No. 2 is definitely not an every day snus, but it is nice as a treat!

I like the GR #2 because of the tart/sour taste of it.

Its a great switch up between tradtional flavors and seems to keep the taste buds alive.

I'm going to order both these in my next order. Am I right that they only come in white portions?

Yes, they only come in white portions but have a lot of flavor for white portions too.

#2 for me. Not for use all day everyday but an occational portion during the day.

I'm not the biggest fan of either, but I prefer the #2. It tastes too much like gin to me, and I don't care much for gin.

Rape is too ho-hum for me. For the price, better things are out there. Now, Rape #2 is completely different than anything that I have tried. It is worth getting a can once in a while. It is in my top five or so. Long lasting and enjoyable citrus-type flavor. You can't go wrong if you like that sort of flavor. I have can of rape that I have had for over 3 months, I just got a can of Rape #2 about two weeks ago, it is more than half gone. Besides that, I got the can with about 4 other of my favorites...it probably would have been gone if I did not get it with the other four.

I had GR los way back when, and for some strange reason, the stuff gave me these horrific headaches. Not nicotine overdose headaches... Just these terrible pounding headaches.

Here we are 10 months later and I ordered a roll of GR #2 on a whim based on suggestions form a few people here. I am in no way let down. The taste is great, lasts a good while, and no GR funk headache. I am very happy that I ordered a roll. Had I only ordered a can, I would have had to immediately place another order.
