    Skruf Tranbär Review

I got the first part of my split shipment from The Northerner today and I got a tin of Skruff Tranbär portions and a tin of Gotenborgs Rape #2.

I dove right into the Skruf as I LOVE cranberries. I was in for quite a treat!

    The Smell:

It smells sweet, fruity and very fresh. I did not catch even a hint of the tobacco though. It smells great!

    The taste:

The cranberry is very subtle. I found myself not really noticing the cranberry taste unless I was not specifically looking for it. Over all the flavor is great, even if I think it was a bit too salty.

    Nic Hit:

Very nice . I have not smoked in over 3 weeks and while I felt it was a bit heavy on the vitamin N, it was not over the top. Maybe a good first thing in the morning portion.

Conclusion.... I will order this one again for sure!

I must've gotten a bad can because it tasted like the smell of some poisonous chemical.
It was the only can of snus I could't finish.

This is my #2 favorite snus behind Gotlandssnus Green. I get a hint of banana in mine for some reason.

One of my favorites, also. I agree about the cranberry taste being subtle; sometimes I can barely taste it all, especially if the tin has been open a while.

Offroad Cran, on the other hand, is like a shotgun blast of cranberry. The only problem is that it fades pretty quick, and then you're stuck with....well....that good-old nice, pleasant trademark Offroad portion taste. :P

I like both of these too; the Offroad and the Tranbar. The Tranbar has somewhat of a subtle dried fruit character while the Offroad has more of a candy-ish, in your face taste. The Offroad Strong is a great a.m. snus that quells the seemingly never-ending 'morning smoke' monkey nicely. Both of these are among the few "fruity" snus I regularly enjoy.
