I been away from the forum for a pretty long while, hope everyone's doing ok. I came here quite alot when I was just starting out on snus, but now I'm an old pro. I can bake a beautiful pris in just a few seconds with both my hands tied behind my back :wink:
Anyway, it was sad news that brought me here today. I was putting in an order with Northerner and just discovered the news about Gellivare and Landstom's...I was like what? Where the "f" is it???
So I came here, the fount of all things snus, and found out all about it. Man, I LOVED Landstrom's and very much liked Gellivare...what a crying shame....
What happens if Ettan Loose disappears, my favorite snus of all time??????????????????????????????????????????
It would be like death...first denial, then bargaining, then anger and finally acceptance...but I'd add one more step: black-tar heroin.
Things have changed in the 18 or 20 months I've been using snus: You can now buy General Loose in a store here. No big deal for some of you city folks but I live in the woods. There isn't anything that could be called a city for 600 miles. This is in a town of 2500 people. They tossed it cuz it expired but said they'd get more. It seems no one bought it but me, and I only bought one can just to say I did. It was 6 bucks. Screw that, thank you very much, I'll pay 3.50 online and have it shipped here. But I did want the experience of buying a can of snus in a little tobacco shop in Dog****, South Dakota, just so I can tell my grandkids about it one day.
Methinks Swedish Match is coming into the American market pretty aggressively with their regular line of Swedish snus. Good move. It'll pay off for them, I think. Camel Snus? Marlboro Snus, Skoal Snus?
