    Help with the subtle flavors.

I'm trying to pick out the more subtle flavors in some of my favorite los snus. I'm hoping for a little help - or tell me what you're tasting. I'm trying to work on my palate here.

The one thing I'm looking for is stronger citruis notes. One of my favs, General los, has a citruis note that I'm detecting and I like. So far, I've not found a similar flavor. I have some Ettan los (that I seem to remember also having citrius notes), but it's been in the freezer for a while. I'll be going back to it when some other tins I have open are empty.

I'm also wondering what I'm tasting with Gotlands Yellow. I just tried it for the first time. I detected a citruis odor, but the flavor is really different. Bitter, but I like it for some reason. What flavors do you detect in Gotlands Yellow?

The other one I tried recently was LD los. Off the bat I got some pronounced pepper notes that reminded me of Skruf Stark.

The citrus flavour you get in General is from the bergamot I think.

Granit lös might also be a good option for you. I know some forum members prefer it to General lös.

I've never tasted citrus in Ettan. To me it is a straight tobacco taste.

The primary flavours in Gotlands Yellow are maple, rose and citrus as far as I know.

Jakobsson's is another good option if you like the Gotlands Yellow. Portion only though.

Don't know if you like menthol flavor at all, but if you do, Wise Citrus/Menthol has a really nice citrus flavor. It has 6 mg of nicotine, so it's on the "stronger" end of Wise's selections. Here's a link:

To me Gotland's Original (Gul a.k.a. "Yellow") los has a very pronounced citrus flavor, but you can still taste the tobacco too. If you really like the citrus part of General, I'd recommend trying a can of the Gotland's Original. I personally don't favor it over General but their anis los is my favourite. Cheers.
