General Wintergreen - Love the stuff, can't help but chain snus it.

Goteborgs Rape #2 - Absolutely love the taste of this one.




Ettan Los - My first los, so I can't say I love it quite yet, but I do enjoy the traditional tobacco flavor, especially when complimented by coffee!

Catch Dry Mini Licorice - I can't fault it for what it is but there is almost no nicotine kick evident in this one for me, but I do really enjoy the flavor.. I am waiting on a white portion order of these.

Catch Eucalyptus - I really enjoy the flavor of these but I have found that it sometimes comes on too strong and harsh.

Camel Frost - My first snus that intrigued me enough to do alot of research. I have retried and found almost no nicotine kick, even with two portions in.

Goteborgs Rape Portion - I do enjoy this one but I sometimes dislike the herbal flavors - have to be in the right mood.



General Portion - I can't blame this one too much for me not enjoying it as it was my first venture into the world of Swedish snus. Just waaaay too strong for me due to the juicing. I will try this one again at some point. I much prefer white portions to regular.



I have found that my tastes are adpating very quickly as I try more and more brands of snus.

2. Gotlands Green, General Portion, Skruf Original Portion, Pall Mall

3. :? Grov Los, Odens Kanel ( REG ) Los and Portion, Phantom Classic, Lucky Strike Portion

4. Gustavus, Kronan, and pretty much all others not listed which I have tried.

2. Claq Qui - Now my usual snus.

Also so far I like original portion much more than white. White seems devoid of flavor and "rough" on the gums, also takes too long to get flavor.

I was like you my first year of using snus. Then suddenly, the regulars got too juicy for me, and switched over to mostly whites. I just prefer the more muted flavors of whites.

A couple for you to try if you haven't done so yet.

I second that! Plus the originals seem to flood your mouth for 5 minutes and then they're completely flavorless. The whites come on slowly and last a heap longer.

I'm still pretty new to snus, but here's what I know I do and don't like:
YUM! General original and wintergreen, Ettan portion and loose, General Onyx, Claq Qui.
Pretty good: General loose, GBR#2, Roda Lackett, Camel JTI, Gotlandsnus Flader, N&J Strong, Tre Ankare
:? Eh, its alright: Anything skruf (haven't found anything I like there yet), General ES, Grov Original
WTF is THIS??: Anything Thunder.

I was thinking it would be great to set up a little website/database that consolidates all these post into a single place. Then people could find recommendations based on the snus they like or reviews on different types of snus. Kind-of-like a social network for snusers.

I thought that was a really good idea so I got started.

if anyone is into it, I could use a hand adding all the snus varieties and writing snus reviews. I'm just working on the ranking snus interface, and recommend-a-snus function of some kind.

It's all php/mysql and a bit basic at the moment, but it might have legs, who knows?
