I have never tried the wintergreen that I've read about in these threads. I don't think they exist over here...

I usually use portion snus to avoid the mess, but I like the taste of lös better.

I'm not sure if it is of any interest, but I thought I could write down a short swedish - english dictionary of some important snus words..

Lös = Loose
Grov = Thick / Rugged
Stark = Strong
Svart = Black
Ettan = The number one
Göteborg = Gothenburg (city in Sweden)
Mint = Spearmint
Röda = Red
Kronan = The Crown
Granit = Granite
Tre Ankare = Three anchor

I looked at CBS 60 minutes regarding snus, and then found this forum. I really didn't think snus was big outside Sweden or Scandinavia. Well.. You learn anything new every day.

I like los snus alot, so I think my first consideration in a snus I like is the cut and texture. I like coarse snus so I tend to lean towards Grov, Offroad, and Gotlandssnus. My conflict is the fact that I love the taste of Ettan, but am not a big fan of the cut. I like a snus that I put in and lasts FOREVER, and ettan doesn't stay together for me as long as Grov. I love the flavour of Ettan so much though that I keep it in my freezer at all times, but don't use it anywhere but home, because at home I don't mind a little snus in my teeth and swallowing a bit of snus as it starts to fall apart slightly. I didn't read every post on this thread so I don't know if anyone else has these opinions, but I just thought I would throw it out there.

I generally like mint and wintergreen in my rotation. Most snus I've tried I've liked but pobably want have it again. Because my palate is set on the favorite brands but I always try new ones out.

I dislike sweet tasting flavors like that General Mint regular that just came out. Couldn't finish the can.
