I know that there are a few fans of this here on the forum, Northerner has it on sale for $15.00 a roll. The discount applies to single cans as well, but only for the Power Energy...the peppermint is on sale for $15.75 a roll. No discount on the Original.

I have only ever seen reviews for the Power Energy, is there anyone who has tried the Original or the Peppermint?

I've had the Pepparmint, and I threw it away after 2 portions. It started off promising, but then it got some V2 portion flavor funk going very shortly :^(

Yea I tried it as well and was not to happy with it. taste like citrus, ginger and dirt. I did get a lil bit of a caffine rush but the regular elixyr was horrid too and threw it out. The taste of the energy snus is enuff to wake you up with out the caffine.

I need 4 portions of the energy snus to get up on a monday morning. By then I've had too much nicotine but still not enough caffeine.

I came down to my last can in the freezer and it was elixyr power energy. this stuff is terrible. first impressions, cough syrup. now i just think it tastes like bathroom cleaner. i'll never buy elixyr snus again.

The purchase of one can was enough for me, and no more. I ended up throughing that can out the door. Everytime I tried that Snus, I felt like I caught a virus or the flu - maybe it's just me, I don't know. But the Celestial Seasonings Fast Lane Tea is a great booster. And oh, the Claq Qui Snus too!

I'm snusing Elixyr Power Energy for the first time at this very moment. I actually like the flavor. It's like a subtle version of Grizzly Wintergreen and thus better. True, it is entirely devoid of any sort of tobacco flavor, but then so is food, drink, chewing gum, toothpaste etc. I like the effect as well....makes me extraordinarily alert!

Elyxyr power is one of the few snus I've thrown out without finishing the can (Phantom Blue & Offroad Coffee/Vanilla were the others) so I have no interest in trying the Original or the Peppermint. Not a big peppermint snus fan, and there are enough good snus out there.. I'm guessing it's not a big seller.. I noticed Taboka has been discounted on Buysnus forever - there's a reason for that! (Great tin, though!)

I really like the Toboka snus but agree that it can't be selling too well. It's flavor isn't very different from Jakobsson's, probably same tobacco blend but with the addition of fig flavor.
