Anyone tried the new General Extra Sterk?

Has anyone tried the new General Extra Sterk, and would like to share their opinions with us.

Haven't tried the ekstra sterk yet, but if it's anything like the regular General sterk... I've been through 2 rolls of it already and still love it.

I had a roll of it. Good stuff - it comes packed in a spiral like onyx does, but with white pouches. Tastes like General, but stronger. I think a lot of people will really like it.

edit: no, wait - that was General Stark, not Extra Stark. I haven't been shopping in a few months - it's like there's been an all out Stark War going on! Grov Black, Röda Qui, General now in two grades of butt kicking strong - this could get out of hand.

Just bought a roll of Extra Stark, anyway :lol:

I purchased a roll without ever having tried it, because I started smoking again, and want as strong a snus as possible when I quit. The BuySnus 12 can special was too good to pass up.

November 11 at 11:00 is going to mark the moment when I have had my last cigarette. (Armistice Day, the war to end all wars- it didn't quite work out that way, but oh well; mine will! :wink: )

Was hoping to find some reviews here, but I guess everyone is in the same spot, waiting for delivery.

Well guys.

I have got my package of General Extra Sterk.

In my opinion i thought it would give me a bigger nic kick, but it never really came.

The taste is for me a bit to bitter.

I prefer my good old N&J Strong and actually thinks that it gives me a better nic kick..

GxS is not bad in my opinion at all and plus with with buysnus probably for a limited time you can get a special General pen instead of the regular buysnus pen

I don't know. There's a danger that I'd impose harsh reparations on myself that I'll only resent, leading to catastrophic consequences oh, say, 14 years later! :lol:

Hey kreller, thanks for the comment. I dig the N&J Strong too, (Not so much the E&W stuff) but I'm optimistic the general will be fine. I think there's a ceiling on any nicotine kick, and more isn't necessarily better. I just want to make sure I can max out during the first few days without smoke.

The last time I quit smoking, it only took about a week to desire snus exclusively, and if I hadn't been stupid enough to take a drink, I never would have started cigarettes again. If it's bitter, then bitter is good. It tells me that something is happening with the snus...

Got my cans yesterday. Waited til this morning to test it. Great nic hit. Definately easier on my gums than Skruf. Nice tobacco flavor. No bitterness to my taste buds.
Will it replace my beloved N&J original? Doubtful. Will it replace Skruf? Probably.
I think General has another winner.
