Well, the new northerner video seems to suggest that it's "folk french" - it could be a really antiquated term. I don't know. I'm quite certain that it's not in common usage and "claq" is not in any of my French dictionaries.

Claq qui = a slap in the face. With the high nicotine content and the drops of blood on the can it makes at least sense.

I wonder why they don't make a lös of it, maybe with some additional brown stains on the can !

      Cheers!

I'd like a loose version a lot more. In fact, if it was 13mg/g it would be the strongest loose out there (I continue to see Skruf stark listed at 11mg/g), so I would buy it instead of RL regular. To me, the portions taste pretty similar to N&J, General Sterk, General Extra Sterk, and the tobacco flavored portions out there. However, it has that RL taste to it, but not like the loose version imo. For portions, it's one of my two favorites (General Sterk being #1 of course). The packaging is badass.

But qui isn't anything close to face. It might be an old version of queue (tail) or cul (pronounced kü), which means "ass" - as in your cheeks, not the donkey. I think the guys at SM just got drunk and made like when you pretend to talk a language you don't know and just make funny sounds. Then they just create some folklore about what it's supposed to mean

They named it the same way the Chinese name their children: By throwing a wok on the floor and listening for what sound it makes. Well, okay, maybe the Swedes threw a Dala horse or a pair of clogs instead.

                  Big whoop.

                  I for one don't give a damn.

                  Haagen-Dazs anyone?

I care about what's in the can. The marketing wads can name it pretty much anything but Rhinoceros Dung and I'd buy it.

Interesting to find out what they were going for in the name. Now I really think it's blood on the can. Hep C and all other sorts of pathogens too.

                  YAY!

This snus, for me, wasnt a winner at first.

It had that chocolatey taste i hated from Ettan portions.

But then the tobacco started coming through.

This snus definately has several characters going at once that at first is hard to distinguish.

I was actualy kinda scared at first that this would cause my anxiety to act up with the 13 mg of nic but it came on slowly for me and lasted a while for a very enjoyable experience.

I will definately keep this one to quell my occasional cig cravings that have been kreeping back up.

I like this for a tobacco dominant taste and general onyx for the Peppery lemon taste, its unique to me in its own way as Claq Qui is.

I think itll take a prodominant roll in my snus line up. Which for the Holidays will probably be Gotlands Julesnus, Claq Qui and General Onyx, followed by Gotlands Gul/Jakobssons Portions which are always a staple.

!!Ha! I showed it to my buddy's wife who's always laughing at my snus-usage, "what the f*ck is that!? Swedish vampire tobacco?!" Remember that Prodigy song "Smack My Bitch Up"?, I'm gonna do a version "Claq yo bitch up" about forcing Sterk portions on my friend's sarcastic-ass wife.

Does Roda taste like this? I keep hearing about licorice taste in Roda. I hate licorice, but I LOVE this new Claq Qui. If this is anywhere close to Roda I may have to try some.

This has been sitting in my fridge unopened for over a week now, so I thought I would finally give it a try.

I don't know what you guys are tasting, but all I taste is Nick & Johnny. I honestly do not get any hint of RL at all from this.....which sucks because I like Roda Lacket, and I'm not too fond of N&J at all. I'll have to reserve final judgement until I've finished the tin I guess...

                            :?

Claq is definitely in the RL family, but they are quite different. The berry flavor in RL is more pronounced. RL only has a hint of licorice, and I can only taste it after the berry flavor goes away.

Is that a hint as in Grov Black, or a hint as in Jakkobsons Classic? The Classic is too much for my taste buds.
