I never really get a kick or buzz from anything but a huge pris of los. If anything I just get the hiccups...
When I used the Kocksnus it was just like any other portion. I didn't get a craving. All of the Wise products recommend that you moisten the portion before placing it. Did you do that?
I've never used anything by Wise... 'purified tobacco', that sounds just like another way of saying 'products isolated from tobacco' to my ears. Hell, when snus is so safe to use, why purify it anymore?
Despite this, I hear the buzz from them is supposed to be quite good... maybe if you've already had snus earlier in the day, you won't 'feel' it so much. I often find with snus, even with the strong portions... that I don't really feel much of a 'kick' after the first one in the mornings, so I suspect it's more a psychological thing when I can taste the tobacco etc. If that makes sense?
Wise products aren't bad per se, but they don't really seem to have much of a "snus-quality" to them. Just seems to be some dry and grainy stuff in a pouch. And I figure when it's that purified, you might just as well use nicotine gum instead.
Vin & Kocksnus (literally wine and chef snus) is marketed as a snus that can give you nicotine without interfering with the taste of fine wine and food you may be enjoying simultaneously, by having no taste of its own.

Except you get 6mg of nic as opposed to 4 with gum, and it doesn't require chewing or taste like hell...

Ah yes, I've heard of this devil snus  (angry fist)
If you can't be without snus long enouf to eat or try a glass of wine, then you should probobly start useing it rectally.

Nicotine gum does not even have 1mg of real nicotine. They are using some unserviceable substitute. It may help light smokers, who aren't really addicted to nicotine anyway, but heavy nicotine addicts will feel like shit when using this stuff.
Well, maybe there's no conspiracy between the cigarette manufacturers and the pharmaceutical industry to make the stuff ineffective, and maybe the only reason why nicotine gum is so weak, is to get people off the addiction, yeah even if so then it does not change the fact, that the stuff is simply useless for real nicotine-addicts.
Wise isn't bad stuff. I somewhat enjoyed it, though at least for me it's a myth that the stuff gives a good nicotine kick. It's really not weak, but certainly not stronger than regular Ettan or General.
I like the citrus/menthol wise brand. I think it gives me the fastest and hardest nic rush (though the straight hardest nic rush goes to generals... I still get nicotine poisoning if i keep it in longer than 15 minutes).
It's just this vin&kocksnus... very disappointing. It doesn't matter how long i keep it in.
Well the Wise Citrus/Menthol 6mg and the Vin & Kocksnus is basically the same thing but the Kocksnus has no flavour at all - and probably much more baking soda in it (that's the only taste I get).
Could you be being influenced by flavour more than the actual nicotine? The placebo effect is a very real thing!
