God Damn the snuser man.. or why I love Götenborgs Rapé No2

I got a can in the trial pack I bought a while back and I fell in love instantly. Just incredible!

I ordered a small stash of it from Northerner and it got here in a week (same time it has always taken) and it is just pure bliss.

I ordered it on the 29th so I was hoping that it would get here on Tuesday/Wednesday.

I felt like an addict waiting for his fix waiting for this stuff to come in. My wife called me yesterday and told me it was in and I hauled ass home to get it on!

I opened that can, took a big ass wiff of it and actually contemplated going for the tantric snusing ritual of delayed gratification and trying out the 1847 or the Lucky Strike first.

Of course, those thoughts were just fleeting. I dove right into the can and grabbed a portion and almost melted as the flavor exploded in my mouth.

After a while I felt a little violated, but like a true snushead, I went back for more.

Am I odd?

I could honestly trash every other snus I have, kick the family to the curb and hide in a cave with this stuff, it is that good to me.

Well, just kidding about the family thing, but serious about the cave stuff :P

Anyone else that passionate about a snus flavor?

Delayed gratification is over rated .
I have felt this way about a few (Onyx, Ettan Los, Grov Portion).
The manic feeling of head over heals obsesion mellowed into deep respect and comfortable enjoyment, much like any love that does not end badley (like fatal atraction).
Although, most every time I put a pris of Ettan in I think along the lines of "oh, god yes, thats the stuff..." If I could have just one Snus that would be it.

Yeah man I think this a pretty common phenomenon haha. I remember after I'd been trying to find an alternative to General and got my first roll of it in after a month or two without. Damnnn! It was like having a cold beer after a week in the desert.

My first order was a "mixed" order, and in the mix was a can of Goteborgs Rape'. I'd heard a lot of people saying they liked it here so I was excited to try it. I liked it, but I have to say I was some what underwhelmed. I finished the can easily but I don't think I'd get more. My tastes seem to run along the Ettan/Skruf sterk lines.

On a whim though I decided to try to No. 2 with my latest order. Wow! I can echo your sentiments 100%. No. 2 is wonderful. So much better than the original. It's virtually exploding with flavor, but never gets too sweet. I even juiced it up a bit so I could roll the flavor around in my mouth. This caused me to have a spit a bit, but even the vile act of spitting juice out was lovely with this stuff.

My only complaint is that when the flavor starts to wear out, it leaves a pretty nasty aftertaste. Sorta like plastic or wax. A little rinse with water after solves that problem though. This isn't something I'd use all day long or while working, but it's great after a meal or at night when I can just sit and savor it.

This easily will be added to my normal rotation.
