General Ekstra Sterk Arrived Today!

Enjoying one now, and all I can say is that this stuff is terrific.

In terms of flavor there are no real frills, except for a noticeable black peppery taste, which works nicely with the traditional "straight-tobacco-and salt" snus experience.

And yes, it is strong. If you're craving nicotine, you most assuredly will not be within a few minutes of taking one of these.

In sum, this snus will become a keeper. It will not replace, but share status with my beloved N&J Strong. For hard-core nicotine users here, I can highly recommended it.

I will probably use this snus exclusively now. The taste is predominately tobacco but has a good hint of lemon which improves breath and makes the taste more subtle. However, the best part about Ekstra Sterk is the nicotine level; the hit occurs within five minutes and provides satisfaction for a couple hours afterwards. I would recommend this to anyone that has just quit smoking and needs that extra hit of nicotine that will curb cravings extremely well.

Wow! Got one of these in now and my head is spinning Haven't had that in a long time.

Doesn't seem to give me stomach cramps like a lot of the strong original portions do and doesn't seem to burn my gums as much as Skruf Stark does.

The tobbaco's neatly arranged in the portion bags too so no need to shake it into postion before use.

The only down side to me is it doesn't have as much of that General taste that I love and instead it tends to be a bit on the bitter side.

It's certainly the new king of vitamin N in Snus though

I just got it yesterday and agree the nicotine comes on very fast. This will be my new breakfast snus.

When driving to school this morning, I was buzzing similar to when I smoked, and it only took 4-5 minutes to kick in! I ordered a 10-roll of Ekstra Sterk last night and bought a single can of the new Roda Lacket Sterk.

Like I said in my previous post, I think General Ekstra Sterk will be my exclusive snus forever or for a while.

I love how quickly this one kicks in. The nicotine rush doesn't seem stronger than Skruf Stark IMO but the fact that it works so quickly make this a great snus for smokers that want to quit. The flavor lasts and lasts too and the flavor profile is classic General.

Imo, it's one of the best on the market nowadays, tastes pretty much like the General original portion, but it's much stronger. Really good.

I'll chime in ---------

Opened my can this afternoon, initial impressions:

-Flavor is excellent, leaves nothing to be desired

-Portion comfort/quality is outstanding, as to be expected from a swed. match product

-The Nic hit is powerful, but I didn't feel it was dramatically stronger than N+J or the new Roda

-The downside, and I mean the ONLY downside, is that these portions drip like friggin CRAZY, far more than any other portions I've ever used. I had to grab a spitter, and I'm not too terribly squemish about swallowing snus juice.

I got a few tins of this. I'm enjoying the first tin! It does seem a bit peppery, I wouldn't take one too early in the day. I like that it reminds me of a cigar somehow. The vitamin N doesn't hurt either. :lol:
