Hello fellow snusers

Well i just joined this forum and i am still fairly new to the snus world. I have tried grov, general, probe, krovan, gotesberg prima flint and rape, ettan, and rodalackett all of them loose. I like the4 goteborg and general. In portions i have general extra sterk and jaccobssons Ice Fruit which is really good i love the ice fruit flavour not 2 candy like and the mint is not 2 over powering and u can taste the fruit.

I have a few questions. 1. Is there any flavour or looseportions that you guys reccommend? 2. Is the icetool and snus box really worth the 80 or so dollars to buy them both? buysnus.com sent me a free prismaster . 3. DO yall refrigerate or freeze ur snus? And lastly what vendors do you guys reccomend? I saw an ad in themint magazine for getsnus yesterday but they do not have a great selection a lot of offroad and i hear off road is NOT good. The only reasons i would use them is ifthey havefast shipping and great customer service.

I appreicate any input you guys have. Im sure it will help me greatly in my quest to quit smokin with snus thanks you for having me as a part of your great community.

1.) Check the Personal Tastes Compared Sticky, this will give you an idea of who likes what you like... tastes vary considerably best to find someone who has similar tastes to you and find out what else they reccomend.

2.) I don't think so, I have an icetool and a prismaster, I tend to favor my prismaster.

3.) Freeze for long term storage, keep what you're using refrigerated, essential to maintain freshness. That said I carry my cans in my pocket/put them on my desk during the day and pop then in the fridge at night and have never noticed any issues with quality.

4.) Some people swear by offroad, some people hate it, once again, check the "personal tastes compared" thread. I personally am not a fan of any offroad brand. If your favorite thing about Icefruit was that it was not at all "candy-like" then I'd stay away from offroad.

I don't use loose, so can't comment there.

I freeze my snus, cause I tend to have between 60 and 90 cans at a time, and frozen snus will last long after the best by date. I used to always refrigerate my open snus but have largely gotten out of that habit, other then for the snus I only use 1 or 2 a day of. But my cans that I am going through just sit out. They are done within a few days, and I have noticed NO issues with taste of depredation

Probably 95% of us here use either Buysnus or Northerner. Both are great with wide selections. Some tend to prefer Buysnus, other Northerner. And although I tend to be a 80/20 Buysnus guy, both have always done me well.

Offroad is "interesting". It tends to have a kind of unique, off flavor that turns most people off. Very occasionally, I like their licorice, but that has much to do with the fact that when they had the strong licorice, that was all I used for much of my first month of snusing, as I needed the bigger nic hit as I switched from cigarettes, and I was very poor at the time
