    Tre Ankare

I never see people talk about this snus, i have always wanted to try it but with lack of reviews i never did. What are the spices in this snus?

Well - it's brilliant but understated so not many people feel the need to enthuse about it I think.

It just tastes of tobacco and salt to me - any hint of herbiness that some people attribute to it - I can't taste, but I just get a fantastic earthy true tobacco taste from it once I get over the white-portion-ness of it (which I usually don't like I'm afraid). It's quite mild with it - so don't expect the huge dark tobacco taste you would get from something like Ettan. I like to think of it as Roda Lacket white portions without any of the non-tobacco flavours that Roda has.

The only thing that has come close for me in Los is the late lamented Gellivare and maybe Prima Fint.

I hope that helps - my advice to anyone is to try a can, it's good stuff but you may need to give it a chance to arrive at the same conclusion!

    Cheers

I tried it once, but I'm not a big fan. Tastes vary so much, so I'd say it's worth a shot...

It is good stuff, I don't do portions any more but it was a favorite when I did. I think it is mellow and pretty close to a pure tobacco flavor

It's a snus for the people who can appreciate a plain doughnut. I would probably buy it over Ettan if it came in loose.

I'll give Tre Ankare a two thumbs up and even quote myself from another thread...

"A good light easy to take tobacco flavored not overly salty snus is Tre Ankare. It's often overlooked but it's excellent and imho betters Ettan."

The part about it bettering Ettan is questionable (we all change our perceptions from time to time), but Tre Ankare is well worth sampling, and I still prefer it to Ettan (though you may not).

Love the portions. Clean and straightforward, long lasting. Quality.

i tip my hat you you fine chaps. I have made my monthly order and got a can thrown in. What held me off of it was the dried herbs (the description from buysnus).

I enjoy ettan so what the hell.

My last order included a roll of Tre and 5 cans of Ettan. Plus a bunch of stuff I haven't tried yet. I don't normally like white portions, but Tre is close to paradise for me. I prefer it to almost every other brand Ive tried. I think those of us who like it are trying to keep it a secret so they don't raise the price.

I like it pretty good - I got an unsealed can of it in the frig now, and have been using it sparingly in the past few days. The downfall for me is that it contains only 7 MG of nicotine.

I like it a lot, smells great and tastes smooth. I'm having a tough time deciding which I like better this or Ettan portions. At the moment it's Tre Ankare.

Got a can eyeing me right now!

I like it, it's got a mellow flavor.
