i'm saying if they look down upon snus and it's users, they should expect the same in return for their pure cognitive dissonance that isin conjunction with condescension. not just cognitive dissonance, as everyone has that in one form or another, hence why i also said that i can understand the initial apprehension.
as far as claiming their stuck smoking in regards to safety, not taste, is what i meant. if they think smoking is the greatest or equal to oral in health risks, their either ignorant, or a dumbass after they see the data. if they just want to keep smoking, and don't have a problem dealing with the health risks and the other problems, fine...but i better not hear them whine and moan and see them raise an eyebrow or roll their eyes at snus. initially maybe, not throughout when they know exactly what it is and the risks of it.
i can understand the differences between smoking and snusing as i used to smoke myself and i miss the puffing on the smoke and the quick feeling it gives. i don't look down on smokers and i do pity them for their widespread ignorance of snus and want to help them but it's kind of awkward going around saying 'hey pal, have ya heard of the new snus?" "no i haven't, what is it?" like some 50's commercial with brylcreme loaded hair.
it's obviously not a problem to me that they don't know what snus is.
but when they know what it it is, it's one thing to not switch merely out of habit or taste, but to not switch and think it's for losers or WORSE than what you're using, then, no, that's just stubborn-ass stupidity like i said.
i know i'm not very clear with what i say, there's a shade of grey here i'm sitting on and most people hear what i say and assume either black or white depending on the situation.
