Welcome aboard! Just so you don't feel alone, my wife picked up snusing when I started. She doesn't do lös but she does like Thunder Frosted. She has a few different portions she likes so we just keep our flavors seperated in the fridge.

My wife uses both flavors of Oomph regularly, and the Northerner Energy and the Wine and Cook snus occasionally. She says her favorite is the Oomph Licorice Lemon...

I love my snus! I could care less what other Americans think about it. I wasted too much time worrying about offending others with my smoking to ever really enjoy it anymore.

Snus mostly seems to be a male past time here in the states. But as others have commented, it is far more common in Sweden.

At my work it is apx 12 female snusers (of totally 25)....

Hello!

Brand new to the forum and a new snus-er as well!

I had never heard of snus until I met my boyfriend who lives in Norway.
He sent my my first tin of Mocca Mint snus as part of my birthday present. I loved it!

Evidently, many Norwegian women use snus, but it is relatively unknown here in Canada, and as such my little purple tin and tucking it under my lip with my tongue has raised an awful lot of eyebrows. The men who notice are fascinated when I tell them about it while the women in general seem to turn their noses up at it.

That is typical for folks here in the states too. The guys are at least interested, almost every woman I know is horrified at the thought, even if they smoke. But I just laugh. What is so funny to me though is one of the reasons I am so grateful I use snus now is smoking seems to be a big turn off for many woman. As I slowly made my way back into that world after my divorce, I decided I didn't want to limit myself and snus freed me. Not stinking of cigarette smoke all the time is a major bonus.
