    Describing the flavors

I think it's interesting how two different people can have such a radically different take on the taste of a particular snus. For example, I like Kronan and find that it has a soft, floral taste. I gave some to my brother and he told me he detects no floral vibe, but instead found it to have a dill pickle flavor. Crazy.

I'm curious about other peoples descriptions of the snus they are most familiar with.

I offer my opinion of the following to see if anyone thinks I'm way off in my assessment, and also It would be cool to see other's impressions and descriptions of things they are familiar with...

    All portions:

Kronan: tobacco, slightly sweet and distinctly floral.
Grov: Tobacco taste with a touch of wine. I think its a toned down take on the taste of Gottland green.
Gottland Green: Welches Grape Juice. No tobacco taste. a little tangy and very 'bright'
General Maxi: smoky tobacco, citrus that leans towards 'orange' and plenty of pepper. slightly salty and and just the slightest sweetness.
Gottland Yellow: similar to general but less tobacco flavor and a citrus that leans towards 'lemon'. pepper also comes through.
Ettan: has a tobacco taste like raisin that reminds me of Red Man chew or a fresh pack of non filter cigarettes. neither salty or sweet. clean and bright.
Nick and Johnny: slightly smoky tobacco, subtle lemony citrus, subtle pepper, both sweet and salty.
Lucky strike: smoky tobacco and salt. strong flavor.
Pall Mall: smoky tobacco and salt. mild flavor.
Offroad (all): catfood and artificial flavors.

I wouldn't be surprised if they released a limited edition catfood flavour.

Just joking, I don't hate offroad as much as some

Ah, that made my day. They might do well with a windscreen washer range as well.

Kronan to me tastes like herbal tea.

I find that Kronan and Gustavus both had dill pickle tastes and i threw the cans out after one pris.

The gustavus portions however were fine, still not a favorite
