    GROV SNUS

    In every tin ive had of grov snus and gotesburg there are these clear grain of ricelooking substances. Is the herbs and spices or salt or what. Just wonderingsince this stuff has to be in my mouth.

    I've gone threw several rolls of Grov los and have never noticed this. I have never had GR los. How were those stored, how long, and how many tins are you talking about? Interesting.

      That's odd, I snus that daily and have never had anything like that in any of my Grov Los. While it's probably what you're thinking and harmless, I'd wanna be sure too. Tobacco beetles are common but are ground into microscopic bits and unnoticeable.

        It's probably flakes of wax that line the inside of the cardboard can.

              yeah, Copenhagen snuff which comes in wax lined cardboard cans often has flakes of wax also.

              Perfectly harmless

                  You're going to see that in pretty much any Swedish Match product. Never bothered me, but I really wish they would go to plastic or metal tins....
