hey quick question for the guys that bought Kardus. How do you plan on storing it? I am guessing this will not be an all day snus for me and I do not think throwing the hole wood cube in the deep freeze is wise. So how do you plan on storing your Kardus?

The cube has a plastic tub inside. I put the plastic tub in the fridge. I still have a little Kardus from last year, and it's held up fine.

So you did not put any in the deep freeze just the fridge?

Yup, it's never seen a freezer, and to the best of my memory it's exactly the way it was when new.

Same here - I stored my Kardus in the fridge and it stayed excellently fresh. The tub it's packed in seals quite well - not like a loose-fitting lid on a normal tin - so it keeps really well.

cool thanks for the info. I was thinking the cube would be kicka$$ on my desk at work so I could take a pinch when I wanted but keeping my office at 38 degrees F would not make my clients happy.

Mine should have showed up today from buysnus. It's been 5 bussiness days, very disapointed...
I can't wait, but I am also a little worried about the single malt they use in the mix. I don't drink anymore and if it tastes a little too much of alchohol, I don't think I will be able to use it.

When I empty a tub of Kardus, I'm going to put nasal snuff in it. That would look very nice on a desk.

The scotch flavor isn't prominent. It has a whisky flavor in the same way that many tobaccos have a whisky flavor, just fortified. It's a ambiguous whisky taste, like Probe, but not anywhere near the same direction they took it if you know what I mean.

That's good to hear, "not prominent" quells my fears a little. I have never tried probe for the same reason I mentioned above, but I understand that it is quite sweet and regarded as disgusting by most that share my tastes.

You'd probably be ok with Probe. It's not an alcoholic flavor imo. It's sweet, and has some notes of whisky, but if you drank a glass of that flavor, you wouldn't identify it as whisky.

I loved Probe when I first got it, but burned out on it quick. I still like it ok, I just never reach for it.

Should I ever get a can of probe again in a mix roll, I won't thow it out again. Thanks.
I am looking forward to the Kardus.

GetSnus sent me a convenient link in an email to the UPS tracking info for my Kardus.

Really cool. I wasn't sure with free shipping how it was coming.

UPS themselves on the other hand....
Yesterday (Friday) it was @ 2 hours away East.
It said "on time" for Monday delivery. Whatever I'm not going to run out and get it.
Today it's 4 hours away West.
Pretty inefficient.. I might have been better off not checking.

So close and yet so far...
I would be very surprised (irritated :? ) if mine did not show up Monday.
