It's just a paper seal. It could have very well broken on it's own.

possibly could have broken on its on, and possibly the lid rotated 90 degrees on it's own in transit.

Then most likely it was checked by customs on it's way over from Sweden. All the employees of Getsnus could fit in your bathroom. I guarantee they didn't open it.

i guess i was a little hasty in assuming they opened it there lxskllr. i am thankful my kardus wasn't quiet the mess bakers was. on a more positive note i tried the kardus last night. it was excellent not something i will crave daily, but when the moment strikes me i will be glad i have it around.

I've been dealing with UPS for years and, can tell you first hand that, during the holiday season, they hire "Temps" to help deal with the huge influx of packages. So far, between Thanksgiving and now, I've submitted around $10k in damage claims to them! (damaged displayers, signage, High-End electronics) Between Jan 1st and Nov 25th I had filed $1k in damage claims. Since GetSnus is in Pennsylvania, I doubt customs had anything to do with it. GetSnus would have received it in a bulk shipment from Stockholm, in tact, put it in a box and, shipped it out to you. I'd place the blame with UPS, not GetSnus. Just my 2 cents.

I'll second Woodstock's testimony since I work at their largest air hub in the world. After seeing the way some of these packages are placed into cargo containers and/or loaded individually in some cases into the belly of an aircraft, I'd have to agree.

There are a lot of year-round employees who actually give a damn about their jobs and the customer's satisfaction, handling parcels with care, but here during peak season they'll hire any old joe off the street looking to make a little extra cash and he doesn't really give a damn about anyone's satisfaction but his own. I work with aircraft so I'm not in the package sort most of the time, but I've seen enough this time of year to ship any fragile parcels FedEx during the holidays.

I'm not a corporate shill or anything, but hearing stories like these really makes me want to apologize for this kind of crap. If this had happened to me, I likely would have quit my job! lol

i received a phone call from robert at getsnus last night. i will have to say their customer service is probably the best of any online vendor i have ever dealt with. actually they are better than any store i've dealt with period in the last few years. they will be getting a lot more of my business in the future. there is always a risk ordering anything through the mail. problems will occur but i am confident in getsnus. they have proven they want my business and that means a lot to me.

Got my kardus today. The lid was in the same state as luckysealy's. A broken seal with the lid slightly rotated but none of the precious grains were spilt. It was delivered in a massive box from buysnus and very securely packaged.

I love the subtle aroma of whisky, it doesn't compare to probes artificial sweet whisky taste. The cut is great but it seems a little finer than previous kardus blends I've had. It also delivers a real nic-kick. Overall I give it a thumbs up....but I guess I have to seeing as I just spend 60 quid on 100 grams of tobacco
