    Phantom Blue Name Change

Here is copied text from an e-mail I received from Getsnus today regarding my order cancellation:

    William,

I did go ahead and remove those items from your order. Although we may not have Phantom in stock at the current time we will be getting it back into stock very soon.
You may not recognize it on the site because the maker has changed the name. When it comes into our stock it will be under the name Rothbrix. It will still be the same flavor and product but different name. If threes anything else that I can do for you please let me know.

Anyone else heard of this name change to Rothbrix?

:shrugs: They're still calling it Phantom on their site.

Haven't heard that one, although all the snus stores seem to be short of several V2 products. Phantom and Offroad Cranberry are the two I had a hard time ordering last week.
Does this mean my Phantom cans are soon to be collectible?

I ordered Phantom Blue and Offroad Cranberry Sunday and the Phantom got backordered so I ordered it from Northerner today and canceled my getsnus BO and that ws the e-mail I got. Luckily the Offroad Cranberry was filled by getsnus though. I imagine when they get the new cans in they will change the site and update it with the new can graphics, thats probably why its not changd yet.

What? So it'll be "Xobeloot - Leader of the Rothbrix movement"?

              Strange days ahead ...

I'll bet it's the Swedish word for Windex..... (j/k)

(I'm not a fan of Blue)

This name change is only affecting cans sold via American distributors.

Apparently, another company state-side has already reserved the Phantom name. Rothbrix is just a generic name that will be used for Phantom sold in US stores like Getsnus. The cans sold via Northerner and Buysnus should not see any change.

Thanks for the follow up. I was a little afraid they were changing the recipe. I just fell in love with Phantom and would hate to lose it.
