Portion Bags

What are they made of? They seem very strong for something so thin and flexible, and they're also very soft.

I've noticed a distinct difference between high quality snus and cheap snus portion "bags". Phantom, Offroad, Elixir, Jacobsons's all have these really cheap bags that hurt your gums and feel like you've got a teabag in your mouth. Skruf and Swedish Match have pretty decent ones for the most part and I think white portions and most black portions are the nicest.

Wow, I've always felt that the portion material used for Jakobsson's and the other Gotlands varieties were among the softest feeling ones there are.

So it's just paper fibres then? I thought it would be like cotton or something. I agree the black portion bags are sublime.

I guess Jacobson's isn't as bad as the V2 ones, but it still isn't as nice as a good white or black portion. I swear, I think the higher quality portions aren't made of paper at all and have some type of cotton/cloth material which is a lot softer.

Skruf is pretty nice, also the Onyx.

IMO skruf portions are the most comfortable. Though I do hate having to always reapportion the snus throughout the portion.

Yeah, skruf and knox both have comfy portions, although they tend to be a little wetter than most as well. I don't mind it though.

I have to agree the black colored portion snus containing tea-like pouch bags are the best. 8)
