Have been using mostly stark portions for the last month or so, and sometimes I feel a little burnt out so to speak. Maybe I don't need as much nicotine as I used too? Anyone experience something similar?
Stark Snus Burnout

Yep. There was a long period where I used lots of los at one time, and then all of a sudden it started making me feel like crap. I cut back on the amount of snus I was using drastically and felt fine again.
Now I seem to go in phases. Sometimes I use lots and feel fine, other times I don't need nearly as much.
Just listen to your body. It has it's way of telling you to slow down.

I use strong snus exclusively (except for some rare occasions) and never feel sick or "burnt out". For the past few weeks, I have been using General Ekstra Sterk and Claq Qui with no negative side effects. I use about 8-10 portions per day, which is probably pretty low compared to most people. Speaking of which, I'm really craving some nicotine... off to my refrigerator!

I was just thinking about posting something about this.
Last weekend I was using Claq Qui almost exclusively. By the evening, I was so jittery, I thought I was going to jump out of my skin. & it made me feel like crap.
Now, if I use snus with lower levels of nic, I'm fine.
I've been gravitating to the normal nicotine leveled snus lately. I just don't think I'm all that hot on the sterk brands at all. This is bad because, it seems like a lot of the manufacturers are moving more towards stronger and stronger nic levels in snus. If this keeps up, I'm afraid they might consider putting other 'additives' in there to absorb nicotine faster. That's of course, just a concern of mine and just my opinion.

Well if snus companies do start putting nicotine enhancing additives in their product we will know because they list what is it in since it is regulated as a food product. The agency that regulates food products might not even let them put a nicotine enhancer in unless they market their product differently.

yes I know the feeling- There is more than one school of thought on the matter. one is to use extra strong portions or pack a big lip of loose in the morning, then taper it off to regular or mini portions to settle down at night. Or you could start small and go big, to account for growing "need" and tolerance building throughout the day.
When I used grov black for 2 whole days, I felt truly restless- and it wasn't pleasant. Whatever works for you- I think mixing up strong and regular/mini portions is a better route then just getting wired on the strong stuff.

I have actually gone the other direction. Especially with all the new ones on the market, I find that the strong has become almost the norm for me with no ill effects. The Claq Qui, I suspect, will become a new favorite for me.
But I do find I don't like the most strong strong. I won't be etting any more General extra sterk, just like i long ago stopped getting the Skruff Stark. But the rsets of it now typically make up at least 50% of my snus usage.

Jyst a little perspective hat I said before. My freezer was looking a little bare, down to just 14 cans. Way less than normal for me.
So I just placed an order, 24 cans in total, and slightly more than half were sterk. If you just count my "non sweet" snus, it was closer to 66% sterk. That is way more then I have traditionally ordered. In the past, my sterk made up like 20% of what I ordered. But with all the yummy new sterks, I am reaching for them more and more, and seem to have gotten really used to tghe higer nicotine. It is *almost* to the point that I noyice the lesser nicotine in regular portions now.
Of course, this being snus, I suspect in 3 months, all I will be using is minis. That's snus...
