What was your first snus?

Mine was Goat Rape original white portion, I recently got some No2 portions again and the taste was similar enough to bring back the memories of my first snus, it was only 4 months ago and I'm already nostalgic about it!

I remember thinking "wow, this is salty" but enjoyed the burning and new sensations it gave me.

So what was your first snus and what was your first impression?

Aside from Camel...

My first Swedish snus was a pris of Skruf Stark Loose. My first impression was "wow, this feels funny under my lip (used a fully-loaded prismaster). Tastes good though, subtle with hints of rose and bergamot." I loved it and had a wicked snus snarl going, but I didn't realize how strong the nic hit would be when using a full prismaster. After my first two pris, I started handbaking and using a lot of Roda and General. I've been hooked ever since, although my favorites have changed a lot. My second was RL, which I still love.

If you can call it snus, camel, then triumph, then I got a mess of stuff in for my first order. The first one I put in was RL. Was very salty, but I love it now.

My current fav is GR #2. Man I love that stuff.

Goteborgs Rape #2 and Kronan white portions were my first ones. I don't care all that much for Kronan but I love both Goteborgs Rape original and #2.

General los was my first. I was in love after my first pris. Though General los is not one of my favorite loose snus now, though I don't dislike.

Lucky Strike was my first portion snus. Don't really like it anymore.

My first Swedish Snus was Jakkobssons Classic. Followed by Goat #2. Then Probe, all within 2 hours of getting my order.

When I first tried snus almost two years ago, I bought the try out box from Northerner. The first one I tried was Ettan Portion. Kind of the original, so I figured it was the place to start. Almost have to laugh how little I have had it since, not sure why. Think I will have to put some in my next order.

Oh, and it was love at first snus. By the end of that first day, I knew I had found something so unbelievable cool!!

GR white portion and Phantom Classic Blue portion. The Phantom was a freebie because I bought TWO AND A HALF ROLLS of GR. I bought GR because it had been so highly recommended by mrunloadingzone at his blog and elsewhere. And I bought so much of it because I thought it would go faster.

It wasn't quite what I expected. The flavor was weird but not bad, and both the GR and Phantom tasted the same. And it tore up my gums pretty badly the first two weeks or so. But I was so happy to be escaping cigarettes so easily. And then I started experimenting like crazy, accumulating way too much snus.

It'll be fun someday, once I've truly kicked smoking and can enjoy regular nic doses again, to go back over some of those brands I tried and liked, but had to overlook for stronger varieties. GR is one of those.

My first was a portion of Nick and Johnny. I got it for free with my first order from buysnus because it was a new brand then. I remember opening the can and thinking that it must've gone bad because it smelled of ammonia.

Trimph Original; the Mint was sold out so I purchased two cans of the regular flavor. When I smelled it, I though "Rotten lobster!". Now, it smells like fruit. The first Swedish snus I tried was N&J portion. It had a very strong tobacco flavor but tasted good otherwise. As of now, I can not stand N&J. The flavor is too salty and makes my breath smell horrible. This is coming from someone that does not even like flavored snus! Hopefully I change my mind, since I have 6 unopened cans.
