Do Lucky Strikes taste like Luckies?

Lucky Strike cigs have a great flavour, is it there in the snus? I'm guessing that it's not... but thought I'd ask anyway.

I never had a lucky smoke but the portions are good. I do not think they will have the same flavor profile. I think it was just brand marketing. I wish Lucky would make a los it has a nice smokey flavor.

While I have only had the cigs and not the snus, I really don't see how it could. Even if it was the same types of tobacco, since you are getting the flavor in totally different ways (one fresh, pasteurized and mixed with salt and the other combusted with paper in smoke) I don't think they could taste much the same. Kind of a drag though, since Luckies are some of the tastier cigs I ever had. They just were hell on my lungs though, so they were an occasional treat.

Lucky Strike cigarettes in the US are crap cheapo bottom of the barrel.

The snus is smokey, earthy, and pretty damn good. Much higher quality than the cigarettes they sell here.

I can say the same for Pall Mall.

Interesting, they're a premium brand like Camel here. Pall Mall are super cheap though.

I will get cans of LS and PM (both white and original portions) with my next order.

I like Luckys. Both the cigs, and the snus. I don't think they taste much alike though.

Weird. I also live in the US, but Lucky Strike are about the same cost as Camels everywhere I have lived. Definitely not down there with USA Golds, or anything like that. Paul Mall, however, are pretty much bottom of the barrel here.

Lucky Strike snus tastes a lot like cardboard to me. The liquid smoke is really overpowering IMO.

                  Don't listen to him :P

I am not a fan of the regulars, the taste is a bit too strong for me, but I absolutely love the Lucky Strike Whites.

                    Listen to me! LISTEN!!

To tell you the truth though I've never tried the whites, maybe I will, once I get of my Pall Mall kick.

If you like pall Mall, you should definitely try the Lucky Strike Whites. Since Pall mall is one of my new favorites, I suspect they are close enough you might be surprised.

Methinks I will give them a try Mr. Dil. The biggest problem I had with the regular ones were that they were slippery and slimy and wouldn't stay put. Anyway I just ran out of Pall Mall's and grabbed a can of General to tide me over. I love the taste but they don't last a third as long as my beloved Pall Mall or Jakobsson's.

To me the smokes taste like ass. The portions are great though. At first I thought they smelled like fruit loops. Can't really taste any smokeyness though but that's just me.

If I'm not mistaken lucky strikes are one of the only cigs that still don't make filtered, right?

I haven't checked out the cig section by proxy in a while, but my friend could only get them unfiltered.

just wanted to clarify, because the comparison might be more likely in that case

Camel, PallMall, Chesterfield, Natural American Spirit, and Lucky Strike are the one's I can think of. I think Kool stopped making unfiltered cigs. There's also a bunch of imports, but the ones I listed are the Americans.
