    Ok, not funny.

Just ordered a roll of General los from my usual place. Order arrived as normal.

Couldn't help but notice instantly that my General cans are all in English now, and are literally missing half the product from each can. No even kidding about this. At all. Half.

    WTF?

Not cool! I have two orders on the way and now I'm worried. Maybe SM is gonna start messing with us?

Getsnus does have english on their cans for import.I prefer a foriegn language on my snus, but hey such is life. Wouldn't want anybody to sue and say they couldn't read swedish.
Lack of product is a bit scary, tho'.

Interesting, as this order was from GetSnus. I'm used to getting them in Swedish with GS slapping a health warning on it in English. Have never seen an English can from SM, let alone one missing half it's product per can.

          Still irate.

Debating what I should do about this.

So the tins where like 22-23 grams instead of the 45 gram tins. How could that be. Where they advertised as such?

Send Getsnus and email or call them Monday. They do check email over the weekend. I can almost guarantee they will take care of you. They have some of the best customer service I have ever experienced.

                You can contact SM here:
                http://www.swedishmatch.com/en/Servi...North-America/
Maybe send any ID numbers off the cans? Production error? I hope.

Nope, the cans still say (despite being in English) that they contain 45g. GS always gives freebies with orders. The one they gave me this time was a can of Ettan loose. I'm half-tempted to crack it open and see how much is missing from it.

                  --

                  Even more interesting...

The Ettan can is Swedish, with GS stickers slapped on it as per the norm. It seems to be about the usual amount of snus. A little crumbly and could be perceived as short, but I've always taken this to have something to do with storage and shipping.

The General, however, is atrocious. Never seen this before.

I'll consider dropping them a line, but I can't imagine this is their fault. They sell it, they don't make it, and I wouldn't want to put them out over something they aren't responsible for, ya know?

That is true, but they can talk to SM and make sure they know there was a problem. If you didn't get what you paid for, then you deserve to have it corrected.

General seems to be the only brand they have all english cans for.

And no one else has had this happen with the English-branded General cans?

Just another reason for me to stick with Buysnus I think. Cans, in English?? Geez, what is the world coming too. I ALWAYS love showing off my Swedish cans. Silly, but it is important to me.

Maybe Swedish Match has read the reports about America's, less then grand education system, and just figures we would be too dumb to count right.

I have never had an issue with the Genral cans in english. SM sells Geral here in the states at select retailers so they have an english can. As far as half the product in the can is the whole roll like that? do you have pics?

I agree; I enjoy the Swedish warning label better: "Snus can impact health negatively" as opposed to the American warning "May cause mouth cancer". As well, having something foreign always scores me points with hipster girls.
