    I'm in love with Skruf!

Skruf makes snus the way snus should be made. I started loving Skruf stark before the stark wars started and there were fewer available. Then I ordered some Skruf original, and I loved it right off the bat too. Today I got some Skruf Tranbar, and I can't get enough of it. Tranbar may be the only flavored snus that I continue to buy.

I still like my SM products like General, N&J, Grov, and Ettan. Taboca is high on my list too, but overall I think that Skruf has the best line of snus on the market.

I LOVE Skruf. I have only tried the Stark portions and los, but they are truly a luxurious snus. The pouch material is awesome, since they leak less than other products. I'm also tempted to throw in a can of Skruf Stark White with my next order, even though I'm not a big fan of white portions.

What I like is that they offer a stark loose, and until recently were the only ones to do so. This is very important for me since I like something with a little extra kick in the mornings (I just ordered a couple of cans with my last order). Skruf stark was actually the first real Swedish snus I tried and it hit me pretty hard. I really liked the flavor though, although now I'm not as huge of a fan. Aren't they owned by SM or something?

They used to be an independent company but were bought out by Imperial Tobacco. That explains the 45g loose cans......

I enjoyed the Skruf original portions i've tried, although I thought they were a bit on the light side of taste. I didn't really get much flavor out of them, but what was there, I liked. In my own, personal, taste, they felt a lot like the Roda Lacket portions I've had. I'll order a can of the Stark sooner or later, but only really go to the 11mg+ category if I'm having a few drinks, or if i'm getting really stressed out.

Does the Stark taste similar to the original or is there a bit of difference?

Skruf Original portions are great and a personal favourite. I agree that they are very subtly flavoured but I think that the flavour profile is perfect for all day use.

They have the best cans IMHO also. They seal nicely and keep the snus moist longer than most others.

The Skruf Stark has a similar flavor to original, but seems to have more of it. It's a bit drier and more muted than other starks, and makes a great contrast to the juicy flavorful N&J...

I believe the lids are somewhat air-sealed. I agree with you too, the cans are the most practical and of high quality. I'm tempted to spray paint a can black and use it to hold all my other snus.

I also like the cans, they are my favorite. In the week or so I've been snusing, I really like Skruf the best out of the several kinds I've tried. Will definitely be ordering more when I start getting low on my "trial order".

Skruf stark los is one of my favorites. Try knox too. A bit cheaper and I can't taste too big of a difference. It's what I buy the most because of school money is tight right now.

Unfortunately along with the 45g los thing - the new cans for the loose at least are of a much worse quality plastic than before. The plastic is thinner and bends which means the lid has popped off my can twice in my pocket now. I'm really pissed off about this - I really liked Skruf, but I reckon they might try and start messing with the actual product too if they can start acting like that straight away.

Big business can leave a sour taste in the mouth if they start to act that way.

Skruf and Knox are my favorites. The los is great with more taste than most others, and I like the fact that the regular portions are a bit more dry than most. I don't know what it is, but any regular portion made by SM just seems really soggy. They also don't seem to keep as long as Skruf products, as well.

Imperial Tobacco is the parent company of Skruf (pronounced 'Skroof' and Knox brands of Swedish snus. Skruf is probably the second most popular snus brand in Sweden and one of the top most popular snus brands in the growing American market.

Skruf was started by two life long friends who saw an opportunity to make a big future for a small product - Jonas Engwall and Adam Gillberg.

Life long friends and entrepreneurs, Jonas and Adam, sat down in 2001 to discuss how they could use their skills gained in the world of finance to build a business in an area they were passionate about.

Skruf is produced in the forests of Småland in the southern part of Sweden and fresh water from the forest lakes are used in the production. Only the best tobaccos are used in the making of Skruf and the famous Swedish standards for production of snus are of course being met. Skruf as a company has a strong focus on environmental issues and are working hard ...
