I'm new to the boards, but not too new to snus. I used to smoke cigars regularly and still do on occasion, mainly when time allows it on weekends. Then I started working on a horse farm and since I couldn't really smoke a cigar while working with equipment or being around fuel and hay I started to dip Copenhagen. Then finally I started to try out snus when I heard about not having to spit and still have something flavorful and a decent nic fix.
So it's been a few months of snusing for me now and using portions since it's less messy. I've tried Skruf Stark, General Sterk, Gotland Grey, mocca anis, Göteborgs Rapé No2 Portion, Catch eucalyptus, and Elixyr Peppermint, and Nordströmen Julesnus. I liked Skruf since it gave a good nic buzz, but lately I've using Catch and Elixyr more. I've been thinking of branching out into the more plain tobacco flavors and was thinking of trying Ettan and Grov.
Any other suggestions? General was definitely good stuff, but found it was a little too citrusy for my taste. I heard Ettan was more plain tobacco and was hoping for something along that line. The thing that sucks is that I'm a college student and can't afford too much at once, so I can only get three of four tins online for now. My next order at the end of the month was going to look like:
Ettan portion
Granit portion
Catch Eucalyptus portion
Elixyr Peppermint portion
