    General Wintergreen

I was curious if anyone has tried this? It sounds tempting to me and I wanted to know what others think about it. It isn't offered where I usually buy my snus, though, since I get mine from buysnus.com. getsnus.com offers it, though, and I'm also wondering if they're a good retailer to buy from.

I dig General Wintergreen. They're white potions and they have a lot of sticky sweet wintergreen flavor going on. Really unique as far Swedish snus goes.

Buysnus doesn't have 'em because they're not available for the Swedish market. Getsnus.com is a fine place to order from, though. Not the cheapest, but shipping will be fast if your an Americat.

I like the General wintergreen portions. Now the only other mint flavored snus i have had is elixyr peppermint. I like the general wintergreen better. It is a very minty taste, but you can still taste some of the tobacco flavor through the mint

This would be a snus you either love or hate, Not a lot of middle ground here about it.

I like General Wintergreen, although I prefer Offroad. Sagedil is right; most people either like it or they don't.

I received a can of General Wintergreen White Portions as a freebie. I found it tasty right before bed, after brushing my teeth. It's like a mild wintergreen breathmint, with a slight tobacco flavor that comes out after a while.

I hate wintergreen, but got can as a freebie, they are good if you like that flavor. Burns a little, but not too bad.

Sounds like something I'll include in my next order if it isn't a freebie. I figure it'll be worth a shot to try at least. I like Catch Eucalyptus and the Elixyr Peppermint, and General has high quality stuff so it should live up well. I'll add in more traditional snuses too like Ettan and Grov. I'm wondering where else to find Pall Mall as well since I hear good things about it.

I am still pretty new to snus but I found the General Wintergreen to be pretty palatable. The wintergreen burns my lip more than even an extra sterk. I found it much better then Offroad American Wintergreen loose, which turned bitter very quickly. The General Wintergreen flavor lasted as long as I cared to keep it in.

                    I agree there.

I'm not partial to wintergreen, but general has done it very well.

Maybe the best option for mint dip users to transition.

Is it in any way like Kodiak Wintergreen? That is the only dip I like. And it's very rare I actually do dip. I am interested in getting it (My Local tobacconist sells it so I won't have to order it) is it worth a shot??

I dipped Kodiak Wintergreen for a couple of years before moving to Straight flavored dip. General Wintergreen is not the same but I have not found any snus that is really like any dip. On the good side, there is no smell of ammonia when you open the can of General! The General Wintergreen is a more crisp and less sweet but, since you are not working up big mouthfuls of spit, much more subdued too. It was hard for me to understand the difference between dip and snus until I had used snus for a week or so and I doubt I am doing any better at explaining it.
