You are spot on Ix. Fortunately for me, I prefer V2 stuff far more than I do Gotlands. If suddenly my only choice for snus was Gotlands, I'd quit using snus. Gotlands and V2 are very similar in the fact that people typically either love it or hate it. I think Thunder is going to bridge many haters.

That is the absolute joy of this product. There is something for everybody. If you don't like what I like... Oh well. If I don't like what you like... Oh well.

Imagine how boring these forums would be if everyone agreed with everyone else on taste preferences? blah!

Sagedil, first of all, I am very glad that you are here with us since I have learned a lot from you. I was not trying to be insensitive at all. I was basically trying to say that, provided money is not a problem, sometimes it would be a waste of money to spend $2 on something that we don’t like, when we can spend 3$ and buy a product that makes us really happy. Now it would also makes sense to say, in a money crunch situation, if I don’t have the extra $1, I would probably buy the $2 product and would appreciate the fact that I have some snus.

        Sal1000us, I knew you weren't, and I agree with you...up to a point.

But last year really was bad. Starting the November before with my motorcycle accident, then being royally screwed by a job in February. A little background. My gas heat was turned off in early December, as I had missed work from my accident, and wouldn't get money from the insurance for another 6 months. I went 3 months, through the dead of winter, with no gas heat. I did have a little electric oil heater that helped me make it through. And on the days it got down to 15 degrees, I turned on the electric range to help heat my place. I would boil water every two days to take a sponge bath. I had maybe $15 a week to use for food, and literally lived on nothing more than $0.33 burritos and $0.66 pizzas for three months.

        So a bit sensitive perhaps.

My world is 1000 times better today. Have a great job that I absolutely love, able to save close to $1000 a month (simply haven't started spending much money again, still almost as cheap as I was then). But today, I absolutely agree with you, and my one little pleasure I do allow myself is I only buy what snus I want now, even throw in for a couple of cans of Oynx every time I order.

Although I desperately hope never to again be in the situation I was last year, I know I will be forever grateful having lived through and surviving it. I never wasted a single second feeling sorry for myself, I just did what I needed to to make it, and will be forever grateful for the lessons it brought me.

And thank you for your kind words. being here for folks just discovering snus is what I love to do.

I am very glad things are much better. We've all been there to varying degrees and came out stronger and more appreciative. I am baking a good-size pris of Ettan to go in right after this post.
