I've had nothing but good experiences with getsnus.com. I live in Harrisburg, PA, and every order I'v placed has arrived the next business day. Check out my thread on General Wintergreen -- I just got a tin and the pouches are leaky; I'll be curious to see if you have this problem or if I just got a bad can.

Can't argue their selection isn't as big as buysnus.com, but I did like that they had the General Wintergreen I wanted to try out and that I could get it as a freebie. Sadly they don't have Pall Mall or Lucky Strike to try out in my next order. Though if you mainly like General, Ettan, or Grov I don't think it's too bad a place if you just want a few tins and want it shipped quickly. I'll be taking sagedil's advice, though, and get the PM and LS in my next order next month. Meanwhile I'll enjoy the Ettan and Grov.

I placed an order with them and provided the same feedback, + Elyxr pepermint request, + the leaky portions commentary on the wintergreen sample.

I ordered a couple tins from Getsnus and it arrived in 4 days. I still think I perfer Northerner or Buysnus just because of the selection that they have. When ordering from Northerner or Buysnus I usally receive my order in around 7 days via Swedish post.

Just got my batch of snus today from GetSnus. Three days from receipt of payment to delivery. Great customer service too. For me they work fine since I'm really just an Ettan guy and now and then I throw in a few different flavors for variety. Just tried Goteborgs No. 2 and I'm impressed by its mildness and unique berry flavor. Almost kind of Ginnish but not as bitter as I thought it would be. Definitely one I'll order from time to time for variety.

I have zero problems with his store, as I know it is an effort born out of love for snus. I may get around to remembering to order from him soon.

As for the forum, although i am not nearly as hostile to that one as I am to Getsnus' form, I largely think the same thing about it. Why?? What niche are we missing here that is being served by his forum. I have looked at it a few times, but have no desire or need to participate there. This is my home, this is where I have invested my soul.

I am reminded each day that I have found 2 homes on the internet that are peopled by some of the coolest, most friendly, most passionate people I have ever met on the net. And my online community days date from before the web, I was an active BBSer back in the day. Snuson really is an amazing place. So of course I can't figure out how other forums are gonna serve the snus community any better than we do.


BUT.....I have much respect for his efforts, even if I don't always understand his choices.

i have visited the snuscentral forum a few times. bored the sh*t out of me. i haven't even visited the getsnus forum yet. i have ordered from them twice. once when they were the only place left that had kardus. i am enjoying some now btw. i will vouch for there customer service. my kardus arrived in less than perfect condition. it wasn't a total mess, but it was still less than perfect. they went above and beyond to make it up to me. even after i told them i wasn't pissed. they sent me several cans of my favorite snus and a few they thought i might enjoy.

I don't care about the politics or the forum wars. I care about getting my snus fast, fresh and saving a few bucks. For me getsnus.com provides me what I need, so far. I'm happy.

I do want to be clear here.

I am all in favor of Getsnus breaking into the market. The more providers of snus, the better. I do have some issues with their selling snus so close to expiration date, but as long as folks know that, accept that, all is OK with me.

I absolutely will question it when someone says they always send fresh snus, as this is simply not what 80% of Getsnuses customers are reporting.

Whatever issues I have with Getsnus have to do with their choice to start another forum, the rules they set up for that forum, and the fact that they are misleading, potentially, new snusers a bit.

But, I have heard nothing but good things about Getsnus customer service. I am hoping they are able to broaden what they offer. As I posted elsewhere, using my last order as a guide, Getsnus carries only about 20% of what I use, so simply isn't a reasonable alternative for me....yet. If folks want to make use of Getsnus, cool. But to ONLY use Getsnus?? I think that would be so sad, as they would be missing out on a whole bunch of great snus.

I will figure out a reason to use them soon, as I do want to see them succeed. But I will still think their forum is both wrongheaded and potentially disservice to the snus community. :wink:

Yes; the day they stop sending me fresh snus or am unhappy with their service I will go elswere. No issues so far. With their prices, free cans of snus, and shipping charges...I'm saving a bundle...works for me...

If others are reporting close to expiration date cans, it's because they don't move enough product. It's not acceptable, but understandable. They have no where near the customer base, including international sales like buynus or northerner.

Hopefully, in time, that will change. Why we need to support them.

ps. Go into any U.S. supermarket and check dates on products. You will find long expired products on the shelf that they are selling (especially hot dogs, bacon, yogurt; usually hidden in the back of the shelf). Sad, but true.

I agree grimmfaust that things should improve as they grow. And despite what some folks might think, I really do wish them well as a provider of snus.

I have just objected at times, to some of the more frothy and silly postings, and get particularly nasty when I think others are degenerating other sellers of snus to imply that folks should only use Getsnus. Look back and you will see what I mean there.

But if Getsnus has what you want, and you save money, go for it. I will continue to laugh about folks using shipping time as a reason to use them though. Yes, for the minority of folks here who wait to order when they have 2 cans left, fast shipping matters. For the rest of us, we order with plenty on hand, 3 days, 5 days, 7 days, what does it matter??

But, since I DO want Getsnus to prosper, I will make a point of ordering from them within the next month or two. Will need to place a 2nd order with Buysnus, but I do want to send some money Getsnus way, so will order what they have that I usually get

New guy here - 1st post. Future-ex-smoker, 2 pks/day down to 4 cigs/day since my 1st snus 29 days ago. Now, back to the subject:

I'd like to try ordering from GetSnus, can't get past the payment options page - anybody else have that problem? Tried different browsers, no luck.

I've already ordered several times from Northerner/Swedish-Snus, once from BuySnus and once from SnusCentral - just trying out different outlets while I'm trying different brands and flavors 8). No problems ordering from them.

BTW - great forum, love the interaction and friendly attitudes!

Call them at their 800 #. I had an issue the first time and called them and after that have not had a problem with ordering from their site.
