Thunder Snus - Production Version

Well it has been two weeks and my order for Thunder has still not arrived. I sent Buysnus an email so hopefully they will get me fixed up. I have been looking forward to this everyday for TWO WEEKS.

I just want my THUNDER. [Throws a lightening bolt and scratches like a base head]

Would anyone by chance know if this is being or going to be sold in Sweden or Norway? It sounds really great, I'd love to try it.

I don't know, but I would think any place that sold other V2 products in Scandinavia will carry it eventually.

i am wondering which is preferred lös or portion? i know it will be a matter of personal taste, but some lös outshines the portions. some portions outshines the lös. what is your vote.[/u]

Me hasn't gotten the los in the mail yet but me is loving the portions. However, I'm loving Phantom Blue los but can't stand the portions.

I just got my first can of los, and it's Thunder. Northerner forgot my prismaster, but I made myself a small pris, and it's great! After a few seconds the nicotine hit is very strong. Woke me right up. Taste is good, although not a very strong taste.

The Masterpiece of Snus. I too was expecting this, after reading this thread, so I was happy to receive my one can of thunder yesterday that was delayed from my last shipment and sent separately.

I was going to keep my opinion to myself on this one until I saw your post BrianC. I was totally let down by this snus for the following reasons: 1) The portion material is garbage, 2) the portions are about 30% longer than normal portions, which just feels weird, 3) the aroma upon opening the can was flat and vaguely musty, 4) the can itself is a slap in the face to any notions of attractive design and marketing (I know, who cares, but I had to mention this given the hot pink logo and how cheap the whole thing feels and looks in my hand), 5) the taste seemes dull and wholly unremarkable -- it is lacking the spiciness and complexity that I love about other strong portions like Claq Qui, Gen Extra Sterk, or Grov Black, 6) it juiced way too much -- I have recently solved my spitting problem but found myself again spitting all over the place, 7) and finally, the nic hit was not any more impressive than with other strong portions.

All told, I think this is the worst of all strong portions on the market right now. I would chose any of the others over Thunder anytime.

This post is not meant to rain on anyone's parade! There is lots of hype about this product and everyone seems to be enjoying the hell out of it, which is great. I just wanted to represent a different first impression on it. And its merely a first impression -- I still have more than half of a can, so there is plenty of room for me to change my mind. I will post again if I do. Wish me luck -- I want to like this as much as the rest of you. I also want to give V2 a chance to redeem themselves with me but so far it's just not happening...

That sounds like the V2 I'm familiar with. I'll try the lös on my next order, but it's just for the sake of completeness. I have no interest in using a high nic snus regularly.

This is snus, so everyone may have a different take on it. I expect most WILL like it. But know that not everyone will. Cause this is snus. :lol: :lol:

Correction: it's not that the portions are 30% longer. It's that the portions are all different sizes! I'm not kidding. Some are long and skinny, others are short and fat. I just dumped them out and compared them side by side. Whatever the case, I just put another portion in. I really want to like this...

I will also order some los for the get-home-from-work, bake-a-pris-and-crack-a-beer snus. Ah, best snus of the day.

Another correction: Damn, this sh*t is spicy. But not peppery, complex spicy. Reminds me of the nocitine lozenge days before I discovered snus!

PS: Sagedil, my Toque snuff should be in the mail today. Can't wait!

I'm with Roo on this one. Last time I let the hype lead me to buy a roll of something. I find it bland and when some flavor does come through I get this strange almost chemical taste on the back of my tongue. Nic hit really let me down too. With 16mg of nicotine I wanted it to kick me in the face like General ES, instead it kind of just holds your hand 2 hours.
I really hope the lös is better. Ill be buying ONE CAN of that to try.
