Well - having been on a bit of a downer about the portions. I got my los a few days ago and it's been the most pleasant surprise I've ever had!

The Thunder los is marvelous for such a strong snus. It bakes a really nice long lasting pris that is not too course for my lip yet doesn't run much - it is not candy-like nor does it have any of that v2 chemical flavour that is much talked about yet it is not too salty - if anything it's a bit less salty than most other los varieties.

The flavour - I can't really work out what it is really - nothing hits you in the face flavour-wise - there's a mild chocolatey tobacco thing in the background with an almost sherbert like spiciness in the foreground which is slightly medicinal. I think this is the flavour that is far too strong in the portions but in the los it is subtle and really enjoyable. There's also a bit of a sustained lip burn which I don't get too often any more but it's more warming than burning and adds to the overall enjoyment and with very little associated throat burn because there is so little juice.

So I would like to humbly say that I think this is a great snus - and it's taken me by surprise to say the least. Well done v2.

Off topic, but any chance of us seeing any of the Nordströmmen limited flavors on a more permanent release?

Like I said before, I really like Thunder loose. However, I didn't care for the portions much. Granted, I dislike portions overall compared to loose, but the flavor in the portions was very different from the loose in my opinion. I have three cans that I'll use, but i won't order the portions again (I'll try the wintergreen though). However, I will keep ordering the loose for my high nicotine morning and special treat snus!

I guess I am going to be in the minority, I was not wowed by Thunder at all (might take awhile to get through this roll). I think the nicotine descriptions I have read are accurate, there seems to be plenty and it does come on slow. I just did not care for the flavor over much. I have read snus descriptions talking about a flavor being "earthy" and that might be the case here. The can is back in the refrigerator after five portions, I will try it again in a week or so.

The pleasant surprise on this order was the OR Cranberry Strong Portion. After not caring for Thunder and really disliking the OR American Wintergreen longcut I did not have high hopes for the Cranberry. Wow, this is some good stuff I can see adding to my regular rotation.

I will probably try the Thunder flavored portions, but only one can each this time.

Glad I'm not the only one! Like I said in another thread, I can't wait to finish this single can and open some Claq Qui or GenES. But the can is hard to finish, because when I reach for a snus I want to enjoy my selection! If I had more than a few portions left, I'd send it to Xobe or sagedil to make up for all of my Thunder-bashing

I got mine, and I'm not a fan either. It's ok, but Thunder does not tickle my pickle. Different strokes for different folks. Good on V2 for developing a product with the user in mind, though. (in reference to Xobe being a taste tester/product developer) Thats really cool, and it makes me wish i liked it more.

I like the flavor okay and the nicotine but methinks the portion material is burlap.

The new Wintergreen Thunder is now available!

Of course, with my luck, it became available a couple hours after Buysnus shipped my order, but what the hell...

Thunder is strange but I really like it. Seems completely different from anything I have tried.

The taste is almost perfect. General ES can be a bit overwhelming at times, Thunder is never. Got to be some bergamont(sp).

I think the nicotine delivery is perfect. I got an almost euphoric feeling after having it in for 10 minutes.

The portion material is great! I have a memory of not liking V2's portions but since it has been so long since I've had any V2 products I might be mistaken.

V2 really nailed this one right on the money. I'm going to buy this by the roll. I would also like to thank Buysnus for shipping another order of Thunder after my first never arrived! That is some serious customer service.

Just received my Thunder los tonight; I'm going to let it chill overnight and crack it open tomorrow. I am very interested to see what this stuff will taste like, and if it lives up to the hype.

My impressions of the loose are not favorable. I've probably been using Skruf Stark for too long, but Thunder is pretty nasty in comparison, whereas the portions are at least tolerable. The flavor/scent is not organic to me, and if I try to think of a quick way to describe it, I imagine a cross between A-1 steak sauce and rubbing alcohol. It certainly is strong, and burns, and warms, and all that, but there are some other elements in there that I don't trust, like the weird menthol cooling thing in the background (and what the hell is that flavor?). This snus is quantity over quality, in my opinion, and doesn't work even as a diversion from Skruf Stark.

Nasty. It's like an Ikea muscle car. And I'm stuck with a roll due to hype, once again. Will I ever learn?
