probe whiskey question

what's your stance on probe whiskey snus? it sounds awesome to me, but i don't wanna buy too many cans if it's no good

This is one you simply must try first before you load up. Folks either absolutely love it, or don't care much for it at all. Many moons ago, it was a favorite of mine, then suddenly, I didn't really like it much.

I'm one of the ones that like it a lot. It definitely makes you smell like an alcoholic, but it tastes sooo good. It's definitely not an all the time snus for me, but I do like it once or twice a day when I've got a can.

It's super sweet. Definitely one to try as just one can to see if you like it. My friend gave me a can and I barely finished it. In my opinion it was pretty nasty. People say the loose is better... I think.

I enjoy a double pris of this every other night or so with my evening cup of coffee (black). It's quite flavorful when it is cold and moist out of a freshly opened can, but it does seem to dry out rather quickly even when kept in the fridge. It is also one of the higher nicotine los snusses and that keeps it in my regular nightly rotation.

Whiskey/bourbon used to be my drink of choice, so I had high expectations for Probe when I first tried it. Not only did it not taste like whiskey to me at all, it had a nasty fake sweetness....which mixed with the saltiness made it taste almost like ketchup.

It is in the top ten of my least favorites....but like some have said already, it has it's fans. :wink:

Yeah, it does have a unique, strange, interesting, artificial flavor to it. I got about a can and a half into the loose before I stopped.

It has a very sweet and unique taste. I like the portions, but I keep forgetting to reorder it. I'd say that it's low on my favorites list, but it's still on the list.

I think it's gross. I've only been able to get rid of it by having it with my morning coffee, because A) coffee overpowers it and B) if it's not overpowered, the flavor along with coffee is ok.

but yeah, I wouldn't buy it honestly.

It was one of the first portions I tried from my first order and I thought it was gross. After I had gone through a couple of cans of other snus I tried it again and thought it was gross. Since then I have been snussing for several more weeks, tried it one more time and, surprisingly. thought it was gross. :lol:

I second the motion to only buy one can to try first.

cheap bourbon is a no no...as is any other type of cheap alcohol...most of em give me headaches....=(

I never tried the probe whiskey, but the only reason is because i smelled it first.. holy crap!

I might try this one eventually, but this one, along with Offroad Licorice, I'm apprehensive to try...

There really is no bad Bourbon. The federal standards for it assure that any spirit labeled as Bourbon is good quality.
