Worst or best part depending on how it goes is that tomorrow I get the 2nd part of the root canal. Hopefully this ends without the antiseptic swabbie and a better cap. Then I will get to enjoy a creamsicle snus. :twisted:

Did anyone think the BA tasted a lot like the CR?

I finished both the CR about a week ago and just busted out the BA. I wish I still had some of the Chocolate now, because the brandy is tasting just like what I remember the chocolate tasting.

Loved the Mandarine, but only to try. I don't care if I ever have it again.

The Dark Vanilla is amazing. it smells like Red Vines.

These are tough for me because they're so delicious, I keep them in too long and too wet and end up almost eating a good amount of it. not good for my stomach.

Finally tried the creamsicle mix of Mandarine and Dark Vanilla. Very nice!

Xobe - I finally just got around to trying mandarine & vanilla mixed and I couldn't believe how much this tasted like a creamsicle!!! It was not only delicious but I couldn't get over its awesome aroma! My first time ever doing this, but I made some nasal snuff out of the mixture and it is incredible! Not clogging or cloying at all and the nic hit was crazy! First time in a while taking snuff and ending up with instant energy and sweaty palms!! A HUGE thanks to you for the suggestion!!!

Try the Mandarine and OR Cranberry lös as well. I found that also to be a nice treat. Come to think of it, I may have to try the Dark Vanilla and Cranberry now.

I kind of feel that way, too....but I'm holding onto hope that they will produce at least a couple of the flavors on a regular basis soon. I haven't ordered any yet, but I'm sure I will like them. 8)

I think that is what most of the V2 portion testers were hoping for when they saw the flavors they received, but isn't the Dark Vanilla in the testers not the same as the Nord LE Dark Vanilla? I have not heard word on the Mandarin in the testers being the same as this mandarin either. Or was there a mandarin in the V2 testers? I can't remember now!

As far as this actual product goes, I find it kind of disheartening that los seems to be the "connoisseur's snus" as Kardus and almost every other limited edition snus only comes in that form. Almost all los users also seem to at least be open to portions, but I would not think even most portion users are open to los (I am not, for one). I think they would have larger audiences if they opened up some of the "exclusive snus" to portion as well. It is true that it takes more manufacturing work to make the portions, but I believe that most snus companies have the resources to make portions. And they are using less raw product on a can of portions, too! On that note, I am happy that V2 is actually working towards bringing out a batch of limited edition portions, and will be quite happy when we get something that sounds as yummy as Sweet Clove.

I'm pretty sure V2 released a Limited Edition run of portions before they released a Limited Edition loose set. Offroad Limited was released in 2008.

In the new test samples, Dark Vanilla is similar to the Nordstrommen's. Mandarin is very similar, about as similar as you can get between a loose and portion.

I think that Onyx is kind of like a "distinguished" portion.

I think Kardus had to be loose because part of what was special about it was the cut, as well as the hand-selected tobacco etc.

I expect that V2 will continue to release Limited Edition Offroad portions every year.

I ordered some of the lös from buysnus. Got Brandy Alexander, Dark Vanilla and Mandarine. Unfortunately, one can of mandarine was left out of the order, however, I am sure that will be corrected. As far as the snus goes, I have mandarine in right now, and it is yummy indeed. I did notice some of the crumbliness previously described, but it wasn't much of a big deal. Still baked a decent pris and haven't had any issues yet. The orange flavor is somewhere in between dominating and subtle. Overall a very well made snus. Can't wait to try the creamsicle described earlier.3
