I had my first snus today, and was pleasantly surprised at the effect. Funnily enough I think I prefer the minty/fruity snuses (I smoked RYO cigarettes with a menthol filter before) (is this a bit girlie? :P). I like Jakobsson's Ice Fruit in particular. I have one issue, which I guess is a common one - namely, the salt in the portions. How long does it take for the taste buds to acclimatize to the salt in the snus? A day? A couple of days? And what is the purpose of the salt?
The saltiness - for how long?

It took me about 2 weeks I guess.
Camel snus was my first, and after looking online, I got the Northerners 24 tin try out box. It came with lots of delicious flavors, so I couldn't wait to get it... Camel snus is very sweet, huge fake flavor, and no salt. That's what I was expecting from the Swedish snus... Not even close :^D...
I was a bit disappointed at first tbh, but I grew to appreciate the subtler flavors of the Swedish product, and it didn't taste too salty after awhile. Now, they don't make a snus that has too much salt for me, and the brands that don't have as much salt, I find a bit lacking :^)
