    Another new snus convert

This is just another post from a new snuser.

Being a Camel Light smoker for 15 years or so I was sent a promotional tin of Camel Snus last year. I enjoyed it and loved the fact that I could take it anywhere. What a novel concept! I waited patiently for nearly a year for my local store to start carrying the stuff. Well, they got in in about two weeks ago and I bought several cans of it.

Being a bit more curious about the stuff, I stumbled upon several snus-related sites such as this one and made a purchase last week consisting of a mix of original, original white, strong, and flavored.

What a difference! At first I was a bit put off by all the salt, but after only three days I barely notice it. I haven't had one of the Camel snuses since getting in the real stuff. I thoroughly enjoy the quality tobacco taste of the Swedish stuff. Out of the tins that I purchased, the Onyx Portions are by far my favorite. As far as the flavored snus is concerned, I'm kicking myself in the ass for buying the Ice-Fruit --- it's disgusting, but the Catch Eucalyptus is pretty good.

As an aside, I'm down to smoking only 1-3 cigs a day now. They taste pretty bad now and the craving is way down, unless I'm drinking.

Very informative community y'all have here.

Welcome, glad you are liking the real stuff. I really don't care for the ice-fruit either but the Jakobsson's Original is outstanding. Oh and as the cigarette cravings when drinking General Extra Stark should take care of that.

      Welcome b0xii.

Eventually, the snus will completely take over and you will never, or rarely, even want a cigarette.

Yeah, it's after 3pm here and I haven't had one all day. Normally I'd be on number 10 or 12.
