Hrmm, Ettan oddness

I had a tin of Ettan regular portions a while back and I nursed them for a few months (I kept them in the freezer and just grabbed a portion now and again) and I really dug them. I figured I would order a tin of Ettan while portions but I am a bit confused...

They taste nothing like the Ettan I tried. They smell like Ettan but I keep getting this hint of elderberry like Gotlundsnus Green.

Anyone ever tried Ettan white and noticed anything odd about them? It's not a bad taste at all, more smoky that Gotlandsnus Green, not as bitter but it still is hitting my with that flavor.

Ettan whites are one of the few whites I haven't liked. taste just seemed strange and off to me. of course, I don't really like Gotlundsnus either, accept the Green which is a very, very rare changeup for me. Once very six moths, i will go through or 3 a day.
