Thunder extra sterk vs. skruf stark white

i'm on my way to order my first rolls (claq qui, skruf stark white - thanks to starcadia, i don't have to order grov black! thanks again!) and ran across this on northerner that i've never seen there before (apparently they updated their site) - Thunder Extra sterk. wtf?

comparing the nicotine level to thunder ex vs. skruf stark is no help - skruf stark says "high nicotine content" and thunder says 16mg. which one's stronger?

damn... should i just order five of stark white and five thunder? I've never tried thunder - what's it taste similar to? I've tried just about every big brands, so i need a reference point!

I've never tried Thunder or Skruf White... yet. I would just order two cans of Thunder to see how you like it. Have you tried General Ekstra Sterk? Its very strong (15mg) and tastes amazing.

I haven't yet tried Skruf stark white portions or Thunder portions. However, I have used General Ekstra Sterk portions and I have also used both the Skruf stark and Thunder in loose. Here are my thoughts:

General Ekstra Sterk are my favorite portions so far, because:

a. I like the General flavor profile.
b. They have a lot of nicotine.

However, I have been using Skruf stark loose as my morning high nicotine snus. Now that I've tried Thunder (today), I prefer it to Skruf and am going to use it for my morning high nicotine snus.

My recommendation is that you order a couple cans of each to try them.
If you're trying to go with the five-pack deals, order one five-pack and get a can or two each of the others. That way if you don't like one, you still have enough cans to last you that you can suffer through and still get your nic, but you aren't stuck with a snus you hate.

Thunder may have more nicotine but it comes on very gradually and smoothly. For my morning snus when I want a fast and strong nicotine bump I still use one of the Swedish Match, GES is almost an instant, or Skruf. I think you'd be happy if you got both the Skruf and the Thunder.

We got the nicotine level of the Skruf stark analysed in US and it is 14.5 mg/g....

As others have said, the Skruff will hit you over the head, the Thunder much smoother but MUCH longer effect. The taste of Thunder is much more mild than the Skruff Stark originals. The Skruff Stark whites come in much more mild, IMHO

I think the Thunder is much more similar to the Skruff White, as the Whites don't hit you in the head nearly as much as the originals. But the effect of the nicotine lasts far longer in the Thunder then the Skruff. The Skruff whites I am able to chain snus, I simply can't with the Thunder without making myself feel ill

Penny - I haven't tried the Skruf Stark whites yet, but if they're built like Skruf Stark regular portions, they'll be fat with tobacco. The Thunder portions are - to me - underfilled. This might make a difference for you: fat lip versus not-fat lip. Both Skruf Stark and Thunder have a nice flavor, the former having a slight bergamot flavor, and the latter being more straight-up salty tobacco like Nick & Johnny regular (which I highly recommend for a strong portion).
